I will take a waffle over a pancake any day of the week. To me, they taste as different as night and day even they may be made from the same batter. Which do you prefer, pancakes or waffles.

I would only prefer pancakes. Not waffles at all. I used to eat waffles. But not anymore. Hey, check out the place that offers great breakfast. It is known as WAFFLE HOUSE. They have great restaurants in the South. The website is www.wafflehouse.com.

I have never tried waffles with fruit on them, but I have seen them on many menus. I may have to give that a try.

That has to be the reason for all those little square holes. They do hold the butter and syrup very nice. I also prefer the waffles with the small squares as opposed to the larger ones.

For my son it will definitely be waffle. This is one of the limited food that he eats. What amazing about it is he can take them everyday and seems he will never grown tired of eating them. He loves it stuffed with a hot dog. Lucky for me, waffle mixture is available easily in a grocery store (if not I'll go bankrupt with the high price of waffle). So what I do is just cooked them in our house (around 12 pieces per serving) and serve it to my son.

Sounds like your son is my kind of person. I love waffles but will settle with pancakes if they don't have them.

I love frozen waffles. I love eating them right out of my hand with a little butter or peanut butter on them. They are a good snack. When I have them for breakfast, I put butter and syrup on them and top them off with an egg. It is awesome

Frozen waffles would last about 10 seconds in my house. I sometimes make my own and freeze them for later.

I love pancakes. I don't like the taste of waffles and to me there texture is not good. I love to smear peanut butter on a pancake and let the syrup flow over the pancake and it is delicious. I don't eat waffles at all.

It is delicious and I couldn't see eating my pancakes any other way. My grandkids had never tried either. I put some on my pancakes when they were over and they asked me what I was doing. I told them that I put peanut butter on my pancakes instead of butter. So they tried it and they said that it was really good.

I only love pancakes. I put butter on pancakes before maple syrup. I used to like waffles. But I do not like waffles anymore. For breakfast, I also like high fiber wheat cereals, but I add no sugar at all. I also like oranges, yogurts, bananas, and maple brown sugar cream of wheat and oatmeal. Have you guys ever heard of Waffle House before. They have restaurants in the South, especially Georgia. They have great breakfast. I wish there are some in Upstate New York. If you want to check out Waffle House, go to www.wafflehouse.com. I have seen one of their restaurants in Commerce, GA. As well as couple of them in Tampa, Fl. Yeah, Waffle House is the best restaurant in the South to have breakfast.

Yeah, I have eaten at a waffle house many times. The really good thing is they are open 24 hours a day, so, you can have a very early breakfast, or a very late breakfast. I like pancakes as well, but waffles are my first choice.

hi jer31558, i would set on a alternate eating of both foods... pancakes and waffles have each own taste so it would be more enjoyably if eaten interchangeably... love eating, digerati

Have you ever noticed how quickly you get tired of pancakes? It starts off great and you feel like you could eat a million of them. But as for me, I tire of them in a short time.

To me, Pre-roasted chicken is the same way. It looks so good under those warmer lights in the grocery store and when you start to eat it, it is fantastic, but it is a flavor you can get tired of quickly.

I have to be in the modd for pancakes. They are soggy and i just can't bring myself to want that. I like Waffles a lot better. But I would really like a blueberry toaster strudle.

Pancakes and waffles are both very good breakfast foods, because you can make them both sweet by adding syrup, lots and lots of syrup. In my opinion though I would have to say I like pancakes better, because I believe they have just a little better of a taste, plus they are a tad easier and faster to make, than waffles ,and they are more filling, so you dont have to eat as many pancakes to fill you up,and once they fill you up,you stay full longer.

lol thats true, if they dont fill you up,you can eat more, thats good, but at the same time it could cost more, so sometimes its better to get full faster.
