Am I thinking too much than I really should?

On an ordinary day like this, with nothing to keep me occupied, I gradually drift into lots and lots of thought. More commonly, I think about what my future would be like, when am I going to get married, where are we going to live, how am I going to buy my dream car etc. And all these thinking eventually leads me lots of worries like waht if I end up being broke after I get married or what if I would still be on this distant assignment and I can't bring my child along? I worry because I want to have the best for my future family especially for my children. I don't want them growing up without either one parent because of work, because I grew up not seeing my dad very often. He was assigned in a lot of places away from home.I don't want my children to feel that they are deprived and that they have very little compared to others. I sometimes think that a lot of people, ladies like me, are very lucky to have really nice jobs that don't keep them away from their families. They go to offices in the morning and go home at night. I'm only 23, but I think I really should start doings things that would eventually help me realize my future plans.Am I thinking too much?

Keep on thinking. If you find yourself worrying too much about the future, maybe you need to put your thoughts on paper - put down the problem and make a list of what you can do in your life so this won't happen. Or what steps you can take right now to change things. I'm a worry person myself and I can keep myself up nights with thoughts going from one thing to another just like you described. If I start making lists and solutions, I stop this chain of thought from carrying me further.

Thanks whittby!!!! I thought I was the only one who's much of a thinker lately. I think I'll take your suggestion, that way, I'll keep track of my thoughts and see if theres something I can do about it for the moment. Thanks very much my friend!!!

Thinkink is a good habit. But do not give yourself negative evaluation. Thinking things with your imagination, and save your mind.At first mybe there is no use to do this, but when the knowledge becomes more, it gives your a lot more than you expected.I encourage you think with gladly.

i think sometimes we think too much. more we think about the future, more we get worried. as in current situation its most of the time hard to get what can be done in future.i think just relax and life will ease. take life a sit comes.

yes you are thinking way to much my friend. You need to start thinking and enjoying this moment. you need to first get out of your head. see what happens when you get stuck there, you start worrying about things have not even happened yet, or you determine your future by what happened to you in the past. let me put it this way. the past is over. move on, the future has not happened yet, so don't even worry about it. this moment is all you have so if you want to be happy in the future start enjoying right now!!! I promise you it's the only real way to live

It's healthy as you know either where u want to go and where u don't want to happen, Theres always something up ahead that isn't so clear yet not until at least you've went to get a clearer view or a closer look. Don't stop yet find a better view, always look at the possibilities or possible angles u can make use of and find a place where u can stand safe on and look again.. and whatever that is you see always remember you always have a choice of the matter. if you don't like what you see, pass through or u can stop and make your own way be creative.

hehe i am like you, i always have these kinds of things in my mind too. you really should be starting to save money now. i was like you.. thinking that life is still "far away" only to wake up now that i am 27 with no savings and no BF. haha it is too late if you start later and you might not be able to save at all. its okay for you to have such worries, but do not dwell in them... enjoy life and explore love.

There are two things required for every action. One is thought which precedes the second thing which is the actual act or work. If you just keep thinking and don't act then your thinking is actually a waste of time. You are not yet married. You are not yet broke. You don't have children right now. You don't really know what kind of work you will be doing. I personally feel that you are not thinking correctly. yes! mind is made for thinking. Its like fire. If you put in water, it will boil it. It will purify it. If you put in your hand, you'll get burned. Each thought comes from the past. Each thought is projected into the future. The present is what is missed and the present is where the juice of life is available. :)
