Posts with no responses

I looked over my posts and noticed that one or two of them have no responses. This doesn't bother me but it got me feeling that the topic wasn't something that anybody cared about which is kind of an eye-opener. Last night I was thinking to fast-track my posts so that it would reach 100 just to find out if bells and whistles or fireworks would erupt to signal the event so I decided to write many posts. Seeing as how there are many posts without responses, I chose them to respond to them so they wouldn't be so lonely. Is that wierd?

It's a little bit weird. But i do things like that too. especially on yahoo answers. I look for questions with out answers and answer them. I know that who ever wrote it wanted to get a reply and usually they wait or keep checking. I have noticed that because most of the my lot users are in USA, if i ask a question at night (i am in Australia) that i dont get many resposes because majority of mylotters are in bed. So i post more during the day. Where r u from?

I am from the Philippines, thank you for asking. Now I know there is someone who does the "weird" thing too. Well, I think it's not really weird but thoughtful since it takes a bit of effort to do a thing like that and I am sure that the gesture is appreciated.

Try adding a bit of interest or humor to the subject/title of your discussion. That will get people to open it, and once they've taken the time to do that, they're more likely to respond. Take a look at a few of the discussions I've started. I usually have a pretty good 'turnout'.

That's a very good suggestion and I think humor or a little bit injected into any article will always get a positive kind of response. People have different kinds of interests but rare is the person who does not respond to humor.
