What's your morning personality?

I realized that I am a different person in the morning and in the afternoon. In the morning, after having breakfast, I like to sit in front of TV or just read newspaper. I can just sit and lazying around the house the whole morning. But in the afternoon, my energy level is high and I start to do household chores or anything there is to do. What about you?

I'm like you. I prefer to do quiet things in the morning, and then in the afternoon I get going on housework. I've always been a night person - I prefer to get up late and stay up late. Unfortunately with a family this is a luxury! I would actually love to be one of those people who gets lots done in the morning.

Actually, most important things should be done in the morning where there is longer and more time.

You are right, but in reality in my household it doesn't happen that way. On the other hand, I quite enjoy getting things done after the family has gone to bed. It's my time.

When my baby was still small, I used to do the household chores when everybody has gone to bed. It is actually a good thing to wake up in the morning and find everything is orderly. But as my little boy become more attention seeker, I find that doing work at night make me feel tired in the morning and it is draining my energy level. So, I change my work routine.

lol. You are just like my husband. He is a morning person. He likes to wake up very early, send the children to school, do some brisk walking and then sometimes go to the market to buy some vegetables/meat/fish. In the afternoon after lunch, he likes to take a nap. I think it is better to be a morning person. Wake up as the sun rises and sleep as it goes down.

My energy levels remain very high in the morning. I do lot of my tasks in the morning. As the days proceeds, energy levels start falling. By night, I feel tired and if I have to complete any task at night, I postpone it for the next morning (perhaps I should not...LOL!). I think, energy level at various stages of the day differs from person to person. If you are able to complete your day to day tasks either in morning of in afternoon, it does not matter. What matter is completion of tasks, without keeping any of it pending.

I'm like 'Mr Hyde' in the mornings, until I've had the time to read the paper and have my cup of tea. It's not easy, especially with a 5yr old son who chatters away from the moment he wakes up(usually around 6:30!). Both he and my wife know they don't get much response from me, at least until I've had my shower, then I really start to perk up a bit!

Hmm...so many activities in the morning. I think most of us have a high energy level in afternoon. Could it be the coffee we drank for breakfast?

Before I had my kids, I too, loved to laze around in the morning and take it easy. But now...it's go go go. We play and play until thankfully, it's nap time! Then I just pray for a 2 hour nap!

The earliest I get up is 9am on work days and 11am on my days off.I guess I do okay but I have more energy in the afternoon than in the morning. But I also have energy late at night too.

These days I like to enjoy a slow build up to the day. my mornings are spent with a coffee and a croissant at the keyboard, and by lunchtime I feel more energetic and able to face the chores.

Recently I have a very good morning woke up because someones inspires me to start the new day and to start my everyday routine here in my house. And after doing it in the afternoon it is almost the same. I now truly believe that when your in love and someones inspires you, all day you will be happy and inspired to do all the things you must do.

In the morning, I often can focus and read some books. I think morning it a better time for me to study. While in the afternoon, I find it more difficult to concentrate. Thus my study will not be that efficient. I prefer to do some houseworks in the afternoon.

well in the morning im pretty cranky. never been a morning person! everybody knows to leave me alone until my morning routine is done and ive ended it with a cig. then im ok and i start doing the cleanup of everybodies morning mess, feed the animals. thru most of the day and early evening im always tired. doesnt matter how much sleep ive gotten the night before, i yawn my way throughout. but come about 8pm i wake right up, dont even have to have a cup of coffee. then im wide awake and energetic until almost 3am. im backasswards lol!

My mornings are simple. I start the day with reading newspapers. Once go to work, I prefer sticking to desk till afternoon and doing some serious work. Any other activities start after the lunch is taken.

I could of had a really wonderfull nights sleep, but first thing in the morning i'm a right grumpy git and very snappy. I will get up, make a cup of coffee and have a game of yatzy or summat just to help stimulate the brain and get me in the mood. Then its time to get the kids up for school. If it's a work day and I have to go on the early start I will just have a cup of coffee and slice of toast and watch tv untill it is time to leave.

I am a kind of postpoining guy;] in the morning I'm lazy and sleepy and I don't do any constructive things.. But I'm reborn in the afternoon. I go to pubs, meet my friends or just learn for my studies;]

hi ellie26, your situation happens in most people like me... we tend to give our self warm up and find our own mood swings doing things we feel like doing... semi-moody, digerati
