How can a person control anger?

1. Think happy thoughts. 2. Surround yourself by people who like you. 3. Play soft soothing music. 4. Keep away from hostile people and situations. How do you control your anger?

well i really dont know i wish i did sometimes i let it build up and up untill i blow up the only thign i do when i blow up is scream though i never hit anyone and never would but i do get mad alot wht makes me mad and scream when i keep repeating myslf or when i think somone is not listening to me thats when i get pissed off i wish i could control when i scream but i cant it just starts comeing out and keeps comeing out but anyays no i cant control the screaming i can control not getting angry enough to hit someone but that is hard but i would never hit anyone or hurt anyone

Screaming hurts you the most of anyone! Your throat and voicebox will be harmed by it!

It is best not to even let yourself become angry to begin with. If you do,just let whatever is angering you go in what ear and out the other. It works!

be silent go to a room and locked it breath harder lay down close my eyes and think of nice stuff think what i can and cannot do with my reaction coz it may end up worst walk, walk, walk stay at the garden tear a paper or just scribble whatever i cry and cry harder listen to sad music dance sings last but not the least, i try to face my anger with the person involved with it and talk and try to resolve the problem, i feel that i owe such clarification not only to myself but as well as the person involved. hope i give you a good idea on how i handle my anger. takecare and goodnight!
