Who else can't wait for Iron Man?

When I first heard they were making an Iron Man movie, I mostly just laughed about the fact that Robert Downey Jr. is playing Tony Stark. For those who don't know, Robert Downey Jr. has had problems with drugs and alcohol, and Tony Stark is an alcoholic. So I thought that was some brilliant typecasting. :)
Now that I've seen the previews though, I'm getting pretty excited about this movie. It looks like it's going to be one of the good superhero movies. We're planning to go see it opening night, which we don't do very often!

I'm not a huge Robert Downey, Jr. fan and I don't know a lot about the Iron Man world. I do love comic superhero movies, though. The previews do look intriguing and I'm looking forward to seeing it. I just haven't decided if I'll see it in the theaters or wait for the DVD release. I guess I've got a few days to make that decision, though.

Superhero movies are some of the few movies we will see in the theater, because action movies just seem better on the big screen. :)

Yeah I will be seeing this movie in the theators win this movie comes out. I am a big fan of comics made into movies. I never read an ironman comic and quite frankly I never heard of it till I heard the ironman song. But I think it will be a good movie because it looks good from the commercials and will be a big summer blockbuster hit.

I just caought this this afternoon. We didn't go opening night, as it's sometimes a little too crazy, but we coaught the first showing on Sunday.
I really liked it. I thoguht Robert Downey Jr. was great. I always forget how much I like him till I see him on the screen. I don't know a ton about Iron Man, but I am picky about my comic movies. And I really enjoyed this one. I don't want to give away any spoliers...but if you are seeing the movie make sure you stay through the credits!

I sat there during the credits whining the whole time, saying that there wasn't going to be anything, or it was going to suck. I was SO wrong. It's totally worth it to sit through to the VERY end. :)

Nick and hsi girlfriend saw it Saturday and had good things to say, so we'll be going. I think we're waiting for the five buck club, both to save money and to avoid the crowd. Apparently though, it's very good and we should wait through the credits....
Still, I wanted Samuel L as Nick Fury darn it!

Also, when there's a guy rattling off a really long name of an organization, listen closely. Jerome figured it out by the second mention. :)

I also don't follow up on actors, actresses, singers lives really either so I didn't know that about Robert Downey Jr.
As for Iron Man itself, I'm a big comic fan so I have been looking forward to this movie even before they brought out the trailers. After seeing the trailers though I am even more excited now!
It's great that you are going to see it opening night, I am going to see it the day after it comes out in cinema.
