Are you counting on your Mylot payment this month for extra money?

With the sad state of the economy today, and how high gas and food prices are it seems that everyone is suffering. Some people are having hard times getting to work and can't even fill up their gas tanks all in one store visit simply because they cannot afford to. Today, I had to pay for a trip I took with school about two weeks ago. I knew the trip was a bit costly, but we managed to get a nice discount for being students at the school. So, after paying for the trip, I subtracted all of my recent purchases and could not believe the sad state of my checkbook. I'm counting on my Mylot payment, even if I don't quite make payout this month to help inflate my pockets. Getting home from school (a two hour drive) is hard anymore. Sometimes I wonder if I should even worry about going home because it takes so much to fill my car anymore! I can't really afford it. So Mylot will be helping to pay for my gas and a few other small things. How about you? What are you counting on Mylot for this month? Gas? Food? Something else?

Mylot is paying for my internet now. I called the company to completely cancel my internet account because they raised the price when it was already too high. They kept saying, OK, we'll take the price down to $ _, and I kept saying that is too much. Finally, they got it down to $9.95, and they said my speed would change, but I wouldn't notice it. I decided I'd take it because it would let me keep the internet, and if I tried really hard, I could make that money on mylot. Ten dollars for the internet on the own is just to much now. I was ready to quit until I decided I'd just make sure I made that much here. I've got a little ways to go though for this month. The good thing is, they didn't lie to me. I really cannot tell a difference in internet speed. I wish I could tell all the other customers this, so they would downgrade. They could get practically the same thing, only cheaper!

Believe me I find any way possible to try an earn a little extra, so yes my MyLot earnings are a real blessing to me....I get SSI benefits...$724 a month...by the time I pay my bills I'm lucky to have about $25 cash money left over for the whole month..thank god I get food stamps! I also try and earn some extra money by writing articles..haven't though in awhile for Associated Content but thinking I'm should hustle and figure up new ideas...I notice even my food stamps benefits don't stretch out as much as they used to since food is going up, up, up...even the cheapest loaf of white bread, store brand is almost two dollars...sheesh

I've gotten a few new AC articles up but nothing really big. Nothing that will really perform big. I want to write another one, I have an idea but it's just having to get motivated enough to actually do it. I just can't stand writing for them anymore. They aren't what they used to be.

No AC definitely isn't what it used to be...used to get maybe $8 for an article now an article averages about $3..and most times they request that you resubmit for performance payment rather than upfront payment..big deal

Same with me. And the performance payments definitely aren't working like I thought they would. Just doesn't seem right, the pageviews at least. I feel I definitely have more than what they tell me I have.

Bills, I am counting on mylot to help pay for my Internet and maybe phone and to help in paying to get a modem for my other better computer. I rely on mylot alot so that is why I try to make payout with them monthly. Thank goodness they are a mylot to which we all can make a little extra cash from.

I feel the same way. I am very happy that Mylot exists. Without it, I wouldn't be able to pay for some things! It's definitely a life saver.

Well right now I'm trying to get disability so the only money I have right now is whatever I earn on line. So yeah I'm counting on the mylot money for things. My family helps me out but they don't have a lot of money either so whatever I earn is a blessing. I just keep plugging along and I'm fairly active on here. Not as active as some of course but I should make about $30 by the end of the month.

I'm definitely counting on it. I've been out of work on short term disability since October, but haven't been paid since February (long story), so I need all the money I can get. That's a big part of why I'm trying to post more often - for the "extra" cash. I hope I can make enough for a cash out this month.

I'm out on short-term disability, and it will probably go on to long-term disability, so I can't work. I would if I could, but I can't so I won't.

I wish I would have posted more so I could actually reach pay out this month. But it's my own fault that I haven't. Oh well. If I did have that money though I would be putting it to gas, or food for the upcoming concert. So need a job this summer because mylot is not going to cut it.

I definitely know how that is. At this rate, I'm wondering if I need to pull off two jobs to actually make anything productive during the summer! I'm certainly going to need a way to get to work cause I know it's going to be hard to pull that off with gas prices as high as they are.

oh my no, the amounts paid out by mylot are so small that it would have to be a bad month indeed to rely on it. However, I only get payout every three months or so, so its perhaps a good thing im not relying upon it, lol blessed be

Hi there! I am definitely counting on my Mylot payment for this month (although I'm still $7 short). I have spent so much last month that I was not able to set aside an extra amount for my phone bill and other expenses. Like this first week of May, my friends are planning to go out of town for 3 days and I'm starting to think of how to get extra money for it. I wish I could stay online for long. I'm really starting to get lazy nowadays. Boohoo! So, good luck to all of us!! Cheers!

Hello dear highflyingangel. I am not counting my mylot payment for extra money to use right now because I have not made enough for me to withdraw. I think that I will still have to wait another year or two before I would count on it for my other purpose of taking it out to buy a special thing that I prefer. But I have to say that I am glad that I have already reached the minimum payout this month. By the way, I am looking forward to the fall of the high price on everything so that we could live the previous life as we could, much lower prices on everything. Take care, dear friend.

I'm letting my money accumulate in my PayPal account for a while. We live on a fixed income and even that is not guaranteed anymore, so I'm going to make sure I have money there to at least pay for gas and groceries. So far I'm doing pretty good!

I just classify it as extra money. I don't need it for anything particularly. I am not specifically saving it or spending it, but if I want something I will spend it, but if I don't want anything then it will end up being saved.

yes. it is one of the many ways i try to get some extra income into our home. i do not have alot of time to devote to it so i pop on when and if i can but i do not obsess about it. i do alot of surveys and product testing and have for about 3 years now. i also babysit for a 4 year old about 30 hours per week but i will only be doing that for 4 more weeks. i will miss the extra income but not the headache of taking care of him because he is not a well behaved child. i will devote more time to mylot then. you are right the economy is in a sad state of affairs and we are in very sad shape and have had to ask for some help recently. we are middle class though and there is not much help for the middle class. you really have to be poor to get much of the help that is out there.

i use mylot earnings as savings. i treat it as if it never happened. i let it stay in paypal until it reaches $500 or maybe it depends,$1000. WOW, i could imagine now how long will that take me?LOL!

Heck no! I don't participate enough on here to be able to count on my mylot earnings as extra money every month. But I know that is my own fault for not participating more on here so I can't really complain about the earnings, now can I? LOL

Yeah mylot is going to help me a lot. My mother hasn't been working. We need money for so many bills and stuff. So I'm hoping that the money I get from mylot put together with the money that I already have in my paypal account it will be enough to use if my mother doesn't have enough money to buy food. That is why I am trying as hard as I can to earn as much as possible for times like this. U.S. is getting really bad everyone is having to worry about where the food is going to come from. It's kind of scary that this is happening in the most powerful nation.

I am just another newbie at MyLot. Recently started to look for ways to make some extra money on the Internet and come across to MyLot, recommended by a friend of mine. Hopefully MyLot can help me to make some money. Besides, I believe that I could get a lot more info about making money online from MyLot.
