Well I have not made any plans for Mother's Day, I usually get presents from my children and they go to there grandparents house to give me the day to myself which is fine with me. A day of peace and quiet is the best present I could get.

We will be spending the day with my hubby's mom...she turns 70 the day before Mother's Day. My mother has long passed away and my kids live far away. I love my Mom in law...she is great. We got her tickets to the three day Jazz Jubillee in October. It's what she wanted. I know how you feel, I felt that way when my kids were young...there was no greater gift than a free day.

That is nice, and yes a day of nothing to do is greater than any gift except if my children could send me on a trip to Hawaii. LOL

I don't have any plans at the moment, other than working, but I'm sure my grown kids have something up their sleeve, they always do, and it always a wonderful surprise to me. I'm counting on them to surprise me!

I don't have any plans as of yet. It would be nice if they just let me have the house to myself for the afternoon. just let me have a few hours to myself. being that it's a on Sunday which means my big dinner and laundry day, most likely i will be doing just that. I don't really, I love to see my family happy over a meal that i look forward to all week to make for them
