Lack of Cures for AIDS, Diabetes, Cancer, etc.

Do you feel that the medical field really has found the cure for these "incurable" diseases, and they just aren't saying anything so that the pharmaceutical companies can continue to get rich? I mean, let's say someone finds out they have AIDS. They are given a choice between taking 40 pills a day to prolong their life, and taking a cure. Of course, they'll go for the cure. That means they'll be better, and they are no longer making the pharmaceutical comapnies richer because they aren't on the life prolonging drugs that are currently out; no, they took the cure and got better. See what I mean? What are your views on this?
