Well, I am not showing houses today. It was supposed to rain, I was going to work inside the house all day..........so now the sun comes out and I want to work outside. I spent the entire day Thursday in my front flower bed pulling weeds and my legs and back are really feeling the pain! I want to plant a garden this year, should I get outside and get that garden started? What would you do on this, now sunny day?

I would do what I had planned rain or shine.I usually work inside so a sunny day is just a sunny day. The only time I hope it doesn't rain is when I am planning a trip to the beach or to see some baseball game.

The closest beach is about a 3 hour drive. But come to think of it, I did have a good time at the beach on a rainy day. Have a great day and week. Talk to you later.

I was thinking about a sunny day on a day off. I usually sit in here and work all day, sunny or rain. The other day was a Saturday and I had no work scheduled. I would love to have a beach near by me! Have a good day!

On a sunny day, I'd play basketball or go to the mall to check out the honey's. On a rainy day, I would just stay home and get on the internet or play games. On saturday's, I'd watch movies with my family, only if they pick something good out. It's nice to catch sunshine, especially when your just dying to get out and live life the way it's supposed to be.

Sounds like a good plan for you! On the rainy days, I just have to clean the house and work from home. I did a little of it all yesterday, outside, inside, clean, cook, plant flowers and seeds and I took a couple of hours and just sat and watched tv.........Thanks for responding! Have a good day!

If I'm being perfectly honest, I'd hide. Me and the sun don't get along so well, he likes to burn me far too often, and I feel like I can't breathe if it's too hot out, or if the sun is beating directly on me. That said though, I do like sunny days, as long as I'm in the shade, enjoying the brightness and beautiful sunshine from a place of cover. So, for me, I would probably do gardening in the shade, go to a park and sit under a nice big shade tree reading or writing, go swimming, or even to lunch/dinner at a diner or restaurant that had an outside seating section. But, if you like being in the sun, and you're really looking forward to starting a garden out there, I say go for it. Get your self out there with your gardening tools, seed packets, etc. and get that garden started on a day that you'll enjoy being outside for a significant length of time.

I just love the sunshine! It has been such a long, cold winter that the sun on your face and back feels so good! I did plant some cilantro, oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage and some pansies today. I think we are past the last frost around here. I wanted to get the tiller out and start the vegetable garden, but my boyfriend didn't want to do that today. Probably tomorrow though. Although the sun is out, it's only in the 60's and a bit chilly today. It was 80 on Thursday and I was out the entire day pulling weeds from the garden. Your ideas for getting outside are good ones too, on real hot, sunny days! Thanks for responding!
