Rich people are not really happy. Is that just something poor or middleclass people say to feel better about their current condition Personally I've never ran into a rich person without a smile on their face, and I have never ran into one in a unelegant argument. with one another. Rich poeple get up every morning and buy the things the working class creates. The poor just sob about not being rich

Depends on the individual person and situation. Not every pleasure can be bought or bad luck avoided by spending money.

The phrase "money can't buy happiness" comes to mind. It basically means that just because one is rich, it doesn't mean that money can help them acquire everything they may want. Money cant buy love of friendship, but it can buy hookers and yes men. While a smile may be a sign of ones happiness, it can also be a cloak to hide true feelings.
