If she is really your friend and cares about you she will understand..Just talk to her and tell her..I ma sure she will be just happy with your compnay an dif she gets upset don't worrie about it..Thats just shows how imature she can be...

Depends how good a friend she is but then presents arent about asking for what you want, its about the person who is giving thinking about the present you would like!! Me, I would not personally ask a friend to buy me an expensive item such as a mp4! She could put her birthday money towards it! If shes a good friend she will understand that you dont have the money. Think of it this way, say its your birthday and you have asked her for a present which costs about the same as a mp4, would she buy it for you or get you something else?? Also if you are having to send it, would you really want to send something that costs so much in the post?

did she invited you just for gift? i think its not right at all. i can't say its really good. if you still want to go there, give another gift.

ehh she understand if you dont get it for her , if she flips out about it and starts yelling and all that than shes not much of a friend that you have bills to pay ....get her a gift card or something and she'll be alright

Don't force yourself into giving what you can't afford. A true friend would understand and still appreciate whatever you can give. Actually, I don't think a true friend would even ask you to do things that you can't.

Send another present something you can afford, no one has the right to demand or expect a present let alone ask for anything so expensive. She should be greatful you are willing to buy anything at all and she should stop being so greedy maybe save up her own money and buy it.
