Have you been sailing on the sea?

Another item on my bucket list, that I did complete, was to sail on the sea/ocean. I went on the Fame in Salem, Massachusetts. It was wonderful, not just being on the ocean, but hearing the story behind the boat and the history of it all, and we got to "help" with certain sailboat duties. It was worth the money if it's something you've ever thought of doing. Have you done it already? Share your experience(s) with us. Still haven't done it? Why the heck not?

I must admit I have not. Why not? Well, mostly I didn't get a chance or there was no proper occasion but the main reason is that I'm afraid I might get seasick:) Not that I'm sure I will but I used to get dizzy in the car when I was a kid and I still don't like rollercoasters...I need to test myself first, otherwise it would be a big blah if I ever decide to go on a cruise or just party with friends and evrybody's having fun while I'm glued to the toilet:(((((

Geez, that doesn't sound like a fun time to me. Couldn't you try Dramamine (sp?) or something similar to that, if the opportunity came about? I don't get car sick, but I do feel weird on rollercoasters now. I never used to thought. When I went sailing I didn't get seasick, but I kind of did when we went either whale watching or deep sea fishing.

I might try that:) I believe the problem is mostly psychological-I'm afraid of getting sick and I start imagining things
