Which of the following items do you make sure you have first? 1)cell phone.. 2)wallet/purse.. 3)money/atm card.. 4)keys ..5)all of the above. Have you ever started out somewhere and realized (wouldn't be the keys, now would it?) that you had already arrived at your destination and realized you had forgot one of these items?

when leaving the house there is only one thing that i have to make sure that i always have with me. i could never leave the house without it or else i couldnt go anywhere at all. and that would be my number 1 priority, that would be 'money'. i mean its a fact that money is needed. we need money to pay our transportation, money to buy food, to buy clothing and etc. thats probably 1 reason why i like to stay home as well, because i cant spend money when im at home. lol. but we all do go out so i have to make sure that i dont run out of money when i go out that day. eventhough i may not buy something in a mall or whatever i like the comfort of knowing that i have some cash on hand in case anything should pop up. being a compulsive buyer at times i dont know what i might want to buy lol. but it doesnt happen very often. i had a bad experience once or twice that i was in a rush that i forgot that i placed my wallet on the table when i was on my way to the university and i was riding a cab since i was already late. i was in such a panic looking for it, thank god i had spare cash in the little pocket of my bag and my coin purse was there, but i had no money to use going home so i hitched a ride with my dad. hahaha.. and a 2nd incident where i went out with my best friend and we rode a cab again, realizing that my wallet was in my other bag! i was so mad at myself that i had to borrow money from my bestfriend. which is okay for her but not okay for me coz i dont like borrowing money when i have some, or even when i dont have some. lol. i paid her back when we got back to my house of course. other than money, i dont mind if my cellphone would be left behind and i dont usually bring keys of our house since people are always at home. my university id would probably be the 2nd choice to not forget

Lol..We would all be in a heck of a bind for sure if we forget out money! I'm always "nearly" leaving something behind! I might go back into the house for an item ,get that item and have to go back in for something else. Thanks for responding.

All of those things are in my purse all the time, so if I have the purse I have everything else. I have walked out with out my purse before, but not all that often it is kind of a part of me now.

I'm a forgetful person but before I close the door of my place, I always make sure my keys are in my pocket. Then make sure as well that I have money. Sometimes I intentionally leave my cell phone in my room, especially if I'm not bringing a bad and I feel it's too bulky in my pocket anymore.

Ha! Sharon, I love this discussion. It puts me into the category of "old man" because I always either miss one thing or the other. I might remember to bring my wallet, cellphone, bike and home keys and I would conveniently forget my helmet and would have to go back up and take it. But for your question on when I've reached my destination, it would have to be I had totally forgotten to bring the present of my ex-girlfriend once. I was already dressed to the nines and donning some nice cologne smell and was in a really good form and everything with flowers. But yet, I have forgotten to bring her present. Blimey! Ha! So, I understand this discussion completely and could relate to it. Therefore, I have brought a mini pouch with me nowadays that I store everything in without taking anything out. In that way, my forgetfulness have been minimized most definitely. Happy posting, sugar.~

I check for keys first, bankcard/purse, cell phone and i ALWAYS GRAB my laptop bag. I've gotten out the door and gone oh no i forgot the keys and at that point im locked out. Ive also done the get half way to work and realize i've left my purse sitting on the table when i grabbed my lunch. I'm constantly forgetting my cell phone...have to call it often to find it.

all of the above i suppose. there have been times where i forgot my mobile phone. if i dont think it's important then i'll just let it be. but if i'm still near my house then i'll probably turn back to go get it.

answer is all of the above. But, if I am a hurry I will usually for get my cell phone, on the days this happens when I am working, I can go home on my break and get it (i live 45 seconds from where I work) If I forget it and am not working, I usually go through withdrawls until I get back home. More than 1 occasion, I have walked out of the door, gone grocery shopping and only after ringing up $200+ in food do I realize my wallet fell out of my purse at home, or my debit card is in a pocket at home This is why, finally after years of this and not learning, I ALWAYS make sure I have either the debit card, my wallet or cash

I think the only situation that i've been in like this is when i've left my phone at home because it needed to be charged. If I do not take any of the other above it's because I just don't want to.

OMG... I've done this before too. I wanted to scream when I did this! I figured it would not have done me any good though.
