Childhood dreams coming true

I was brought up in a village. In my childhood days used to count the number of compartments of trains passing by-three trains only per day which was later cut down to two. Somehow i had fascination for trains. That time i had a childhood dream of becoming either a station incharge or TTE (you can be in the train most of the time). As is the usual case, that never happened. But,to my great surprise, i ended up as a bank officer, the sector i was afraid of entering in the initial stages! Dear friends, i believe you also would have similar dreams, similar experiences or different ones!

You have to try - dreaming alone will not do.

Hi there Snake Queen! Well, I have one but it's yet to come true. I have this fascination for snow. We don't have snow here in the Philippines so to have that come true, I have to visit another country where it snows. Whenever I see snow in pictures and movies, tv shows, I always see how beautiful it is and there's a certain sense of longing that I feel. I have some relatives in the United STates and it snows in their place. Maybe I can come and visit them someday.

I've dreamed of becoming a doctor all my life but I guess things didn't work towards my dream. I'm still young and very much able to go to med school but due to the many other things we have to worry about as adults, I'm trying to forget about that life-long dream. Med school takes time and a lot of money, both i don't happen to have.

Hi dianne 17k! I understand the situation. Things will not roll out as we want all the time, but if it is destined that you become a doctor, there is no force in the world to prevent it from happening! Be optimistic always. Your day will come! All the best. That you very much for your response.
