Why people cheat on their partners?

If you are in a relationship, then surely you are in that relationship for a reason.
If you want to sleep with other people, why would you be in a relationship?
I have always believed, that if you love somebody, you wouldn't cheat on the person you love.
But I know a lot of people out there do cheat.
I always try to listen to other's point of view and why would they do it.
What makes people cross that line? Some people "blame it" on a drink. Some people just simple gave in to the tempation.
Or is it just simple in us?

Well I think that sometimes in a relationship you can begin to feel neglected and love the attention of someone else. I am not saying it is okay to cheat just what can make a person want to cheat. You gotta talk thru it with your partner how you feel not cheat but it can be hard.

I guess its that whole the grass is always greener on the other side. I dont get it at all either.

i completely agree with you i mean honestly i think that if your going to be in a relationship thats what you should be in a relationship with that one person and not go out and flirt or whatever with other women...i mean i have known a lot of peopel that have cheated in the past and there is never a good reason for doing it no matter what they try and say in my opinion...i think that you should always be faithful to the one person that you are in the relationship with...

It's not good to cheat on your partner in the first place. If you truly love them, you would know that they are the only one for you.
