did you ever change your hair color and have your wholefamily up in arms over the change? I had decided right before I met my husband to be that I waa sickof my mouse colored hair and wanted to see if blondes had more fun.lol well my family were all aghast. My dad when I got off the plane looked at me and said "whose this girl, I don't even know her" and my mom said loudly Patsie Margaret clark what did you do to your hair?" well I went back to work at St Lukes Hospital in PHoenix and fell in love with a fellow co worker. The first words out of his mouth when he saw my hair again was to tell me that the other orderly had to physically hold him back from grabbing me and spanking me.:" what on earth did you want to ruin your pretty brown hair for". this blonde did not have more fun until she died it back to its pale brown color to please all her family.ah I never was a blonde again. Did any of you ever change your hair color and have everybody upset at you?

I have natural blonde hair. But, as with many blondes the color tends to darken as we age. I wanted the light blonde back so I dyed it. It looked good, but when it began to grow back, the roots were dark and it wasn't a pretty sight. I try to keep it closer to the natural blonde that I have, but still a bit lighter. One person sternly told me that I wasn't a natural blonde that I used a box. I had to let her know she was wrong.

Same here EB, its easy when you are blond to get to blond, I have done it in the past and it only makes your hair look all the more darker growing back in. not to mention I think it ages us. So I try and stick now to a color or two just above my natural blond.

hi guys I have found that now I really like my white hair asits all white now with a silvery tinge and it suits my pale skin and dark blue eyes. I do think some people that tella blonde she is not really a blonde are so rude. what do they want you to do let them look at your roots or God forbid, down below? lol

my hair is colored. not blond but i have highlighted it. i am a singer and thats the reason why i colored my hair. at first i dont want to dye my hair because i know once i dyed it i have to dye it again and again. but worst had happened that my real hair had this discoloration that even i dont have color there are white hairs now with my natural black brown hair. here in our country when white hair is sticking out with the real black brown ones means you are old.lol. so from then on since i can no longer control the white ones i always had high lights so my hair will look like it has three colors. then that would be balck brown, white and golden brown. well maybe blondes has more fun coz they look like barbies but i think you can still have fun even you are bald

You know in my senior years I have found that we all have fun no matter what our hair color is. I was not ever going to be gray bit finally gave up as the cost of dying it became more than I could afford and now my hair is more silvery and I kind of like it as my skin is very fair and my eyes are a deep blue almost green.

I think answer for your question is yes. I has a black hair but there are so much dandruff in it. I have to scrath my head more times. Where as blondes can have more fun.

I have changed my hair color on many occassions and pretty much have gone the full range of colors. My hair is naturally brown, but when I was 21 I discovered a gray hair, so I began dying my hair blonde. I did that until about 2 years ago and then I decided I was middle aged, trying not to look middle aged, so I went red. Dark red, almost burgandy. Well that was fine for awhile, but I didn't like it much and tried to go back to light, but now its impossible. I'm going to have to go to a professional and I checked one place. They quoted me $214. No way, I'm going to pay that kind of money, so I'm still looking for someone within a reasonable price range. As for anyone getting upset about it, I think from the responses I've received everyone would have preferred I kept it lighter. Oh well, such is life.

I used to experiment with ash brown and sometimes something with a slight tinge of red but the last few years I just gave up as the cost of getting it done professionally was out of my reach. now its finally got a silvery tinge to it and I like it as it seems to suit my fair skin and dark blue green eyes. Also I learned in my thirties and forties that you cannot please everybody all the time so just please your self.At eighty one I can have silver hair and beokay with it.

I've always had dark brown hair and wished I had blonde hair, but one time a lady colored my hair and it was blonde. OMG, I about started crying b/c it didn't look good on me at all. So if you wanna have fun, it doesn't matter what color your hair is, just be yourself and have a ball.

Oh I did look awful with blonde hair as my complexion was very fair and my eyes dark blue. I looked like I was ill or anemic but lol I did find out a couple of years ago I am anemic. My hair is now silver and I am having lots of fun.
