What email client do you use?

There are loads and loads of email services around, hotmail, gmail, aim, yahoo, firebird, outlook, etc. Which one do you use and why? I might be convinced to change what I use :P I myself use Gmail because it offers a lot of space (6.6GB or so) and also that it has real-time stats so you don't have to refresh the page all the time. As well as the spam filter it has. Unlike hotmail.. it catches 95% of spam that gets sent to my inbox and auto puts it into the "Spam" section. I only get the odd "You have won..." in my inbox every month or so

I don't wish to be pedantic. But, hotmail. gmail, aim and yahoo are not email clients, they are webmail, which means you log onto a server with the ues of a web browser one reads/deletes/writes email. An email client like OE, Firebird and Outlook run a program(the client) on your desktop and that then makes a call to a mail server and downloads the email to the users desktop. I don't wish to be a jerk or anything, but, I thought it might be useful to differentiate between the 2 kinds of email. I use both webmail and an email client. The client is Firebird which I use as it allows me to see all my email accounts and download messages to all of them during the same time period. It also allows me to filter the messages coming in, so, I can send unwanted messages being sent to my son's account to me. I can also save and backup my mailboxes and save on CD. I use webmail when I am at work, so, I can access my personal mail from there.

I am using GMail too. It is very convenience ans as what you have mentioned, the spam filter working very well. I have also use several other email provider including Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Mail.com, eMail.com and so on but I like GMail the most. One of the most convenience using GMail is that, we able to download the messages into an Email base such as MS Outlook, Outlook Express and Modzilla Thunderbird. By these software, we able to download our email and view it even though we are offline. Honestly, GMail is number one!

I've used Yahoo for years now and lke some of the features. I have been trying out gmail and so far like it quite well. I really like OE though and the only thing is if I change cable companies, I will have to reconfigure email and notify everyone. I have to quit being lazy and get myself a system on the computer to use for all my emails.

i have always tried to use yahoo mail and it has always worked for me because i talk on the yahoo messenger and it will alert you whenever you have new email like that and it catches almost all of the spam that is sent to your email...so i mean it has always worked for me and it hasn't ever really given me a problem so thats the one that i have used for years!

I have always used yahoo mail. Good spam guards and unlimited storage, but I recently setup a gmail account and am liking that alot too. The gmail account is gonna be my newer account for business contacts and stuff. The username I wanted on yahoo was taken so I went with gmail and it seems decent thus far. Dan

I have three different emails. One Gmail, one yahoo mail, and a hotmail. Sometimes i also question myself why use so many emails? It's gonna waste GB! Well, reason why i use three emails is because of the reality. When i try to register in forums sometimes they only support gmail sometimes hotmail, so i have to have two in case that the forum i want to join can't support the type of my email. I fell in love with Gmail because it offers a lot of space (6.6GB and it's still getting larger) and also i can use a software called gmail diver to add 6 GB to my hard disk and it's just amazing! What's more in China, many emails can't perform well when it ceoms to international emails ( i mean from forums and some other sites), but Gmail has no problem in dealing with that kind of email. Have a nice day! :-)

I use WWW.com. I use this becasue i used to have aol and it would automatically put stuff in the spam folder and i would lose out on important mail. WWW doesn't do that. I also have a yahoo mail and it is good as well.

i am actively using my yahoo, gmail, & hotmail accounts. each for their own purpose... my yahoo mail would be for my friends since high school & college. this account is also what i used in looking for jobs online. my gmail account is for my friendster & previous work. we dont have a company email before, so they required us to create a gmail account. on the other hand, my hotmail account is the newest one... its for forums like this & my online transactions like ebay.

I use hotmail, but the reason for that is that it was the first email address that I ever set up and ive never changed it.
