I haven't seen the picture, but it sounds like a bad call to me. I realize she is 15 and she wants to start being treated at more of a grown up, but she is a role model for lots of little kids. If she wants to change into something more she should have done it gradually, not doing something like that. My daughter doesn't really watch the show but she knows who she is. I do think though that it is being blown out of control some too. With the path that britney and lindsey have set, all teen stars are being watched and critized much more.

Miley is just 15!A young girl and just a teenager who is going to make mistakes in certain judgment calls...This is going to be a lot for her to know her limits since everything she does will be in the public eye...Every one makes mistakes wether you are in the public eye or not...My little girl loves her and no I am not going to punish my kid by taking away one of her favorite stars...I believe if Miley is really sorry she will not do this kind of picture again..Things will quiet down and be over soon enough. As a parent I think it is more of her parents fault and the person who took this kind of photo. Her parents know better then anyone that Miley is just 15 and should not pose in these kind of pictures for her age...Hannah will still be watched on my little girls tv...

I believe that what she did was not that bad. I did not see any of the pics. Just the one that was on the news. I thought she was 16, which is not much older than 15. I will have to check out the article before I make judgement. This is a hard subject as most of the kids are young. Kind of like Britney.

I dont really know as the show is not here in my country. But i have seen her in American Idol gives back recently. I must say she looks "matured" for her tender age of 15. I thought she looks like 23 something. Her singing is nothing to shout about - quite flat in my opinion. Honestly, its not a good example to set for the youngsters. If at 15 they are like her, what about when they are 23 or more ?

I read in People.com that Miley was "used" somehow by Vanity Fair since she's famous and all. It's a lesson for her and for her parents and relatives who should've been there with her and protected her.

I find the whole thing so hypocritical. For a nation that have as young as 13-15 year old pregnancy, have movies, tv shows and commercial featuring so much sexuality would view Miley's action as a bad move on her part. Maybe she doesn't want to be stereotyped. It will be harder for her to pick up her career when she will only be known as Hannah Montana. People should adapt to the signs of times. The generation of today is different from those 3-5 years ago. Many things and behavior has been acceptable to society already. One should not judge a book by its cover. Same as one should not judge a person base on her pictures. It would be very unfair. And it is not right to put the bulk of role model material to the celebrities. It is first and foremost the family's responsibility to be the role model. It is the mother's duty to educate and make your children aware of what is bad or good. It is also you who first opens your children's eyes to malice.

The whole thing is ridiculous! They showed the photos on tv last night the only thing showing is her bare back! You see more than that when she is wearing a swimsuit! I would not tell my daughter she can't watch Hannah Montanna anymore just becuase Miley made the mistake of trusting an adult and posing for a photo she really shouldn't have! She has apologiged for it too! It is being blown way out of porportion!

I think they should give the girl a break. Yes the one picture in Vanity is a bit much. And the other photos too, but they look like a young girl being a young girl. I do not know how many my spaces I have seen with girlfriens and boyfriends. She is being a teenager; in her business she probably doesnt get much of a chance to do that. I kids will continue to watch her and yes it is going way out of proportion. They should leave her alone its not like she's 12.

My children dont really care for actual tv shows yet. They are still young so they only enjoy cartoons. I however think this is getting blown out of proption. She is only 15 and so far from what I've heard this seems to be the only "mistake" she has made. I enjoy watching her tv show and I like her music too. I personally think she is a good role model. The only person I wont allow my children to watch or listen to is Britney Spears. I think she has made too many mistakes. So, I really do hope this how Miley thing blows over. As long as the media just leave this girl alone she will be just fine. Thanks for sharing.

i have not seen the photo yet so i cannot comment. i do know that kids try to grow up too fast especially these days and that she is very overexposed. she will fizzle out if she does not slow down.
