I had norton anti virus on my computer,but I found that it slowed the computer down too much.

use Bitdefender Im very satisfied with it although it uses a lot of memory and is not recommended for slow computers

There are lot of choices:
freeware: avast, avg, antivir pe, clamwin
shareware: norton, nod32, bitdefender

I faced the antivirus problem recently. No matter what you do no antivirus can stop all the viruses. I have used Norton, Mcafee, Kapersky and AVG. But now I only use AVG I think it is better than the rest. It doesnot slow your pc and gets a lot of viruses.

try using nod32, avg professional, norton 360...these i shall say they do good to your computer...they can easily detect viruses...but when there's an antivirus it is best to have an anti-spyware..

try kaspersky its the newest trusted antivirus even many banks all around the world made a contract to provide them a full maximum security against virus and hackers! try it bro!

you can try out avira antivir, it is good and has a free version.
