as to my hometown, i should say when the grasslang looks its best with rich grass and various flowers. the weather is just mild. in the evening, people can dance and sing around a camp fire. during the daytime, they may go horse-riding or try archery. what about your hometown

i honestly think that it is summer time when its the best time to go back to my hometown if i were going to go so then everyone will probably be out and about because if you go any other time of the year then chances are they are all going to be in the house where its warm...so personally i think that for myself its going to have to be the summer months!

Oh boy , your hometown sounds like a lot of fun. Singing, dancing , horseback riding.. Here , where I live, the summer is best. We have two rivers crossing the town with waterfalls, so you can go and bask on a rock, read, or chat with friends . There is also beach , but I prefer to go swimming in the river, it is more natural.Plus there are the woods, with walking trails, you might be lucky to see a deer.We have tall old pine trees , maybe 200 years old that are very impressive. Lots of great fresh air here. I am lucky to live here all year round. Flamenca

Summer and fall. Upstate NY has great summer weather, hot and sunny. But in the fall it's gorgeous too because of all the leaves and "fall" type things!

best time to visit my HOMEtown is spring, why? it's just plain perfect weather, and there's no hurricanes to think of (i was born in NC) Where I live though spring summer and fall is usually a good time frame for Upstate NY, mostly because we don't have any bad type of weather except for freezing rain, but that's in the winter.
