I have Astma, I didn't find out I had it untill I was about 43, I hate to be around smoke, and when I am around Air conditioners It triggers my Astma, have you ever heard of this. Any time I am around Air conditioners I just start coughing, and strong perfume triggers it too. tell me what triggers yours, and sometimes I will get nausea when coughing. In the summer it really takes a toll on me. Tell me your symtoms? My eyes water some times. My Grandson has it, my grandaughter has it. My Son had it. He's deceased now but but of his kids have it.

I don't have asthma but I did have a friend who had it and she would get attacks when she was very stressed out about something.

Well that is good it doesn't bother her too much. Yes, I notice when the weather changes it flares up, and when I have a cold it gets worst.

I was diagnosed with Asthma, when I was seven years old. But I never had one single symptom until I was in my 30's. One day I was sweeping my nieces room. I already knew that I was also allergic to dust, so I had a scarf tied around my mouth. All of a sudden, I started breathing real hard and I could not catch my breath. It stopped after a little while. Even though I had never had one before, I knew it was an Asthma attack. The second time, I had been walking up a steep hill. When I got into my sister's room, I found that I could not catch my breath and I collasped on a wooden chair and broke it. It scared me, but I was not hurt. Sometimes when I sit up under my fan, I start coughing and spitting up mucus. It is from the cold air. That makes the asthma symptoms worse. If I do not turn off the fan and warm up fast enough. I will cough until I throw up. Which I absolutely hate. Since I moved to Santa Monica, and am only nineteen blocks from the beach, my Asthma has gotten much worse. It gets super cold down here in the winter time. I thought that moving toward the beach would make it better, boy was I wrong. It also gets worse when I do not get enough exercise. Asthma is hereditary. Quite a few people in my family have it also.

I forgot to had that the same things that are a trigger for you are the same for me. Perfume, nail polish and remover, gas, Pine Sol, anything that has a really strong aroma or ador. Now, I use to love the smell of gas and Pine Sol, but I can not take it any more. One thing that is both a bless and a curse for me is that my nose is very sensitive. I can smell the germs when people sneeze and it is gross to me.

I apparently have asthma. Mine is usually illness related or over exertion when exercising. I don't use medications to control it though, they actually made me very sick. Instead, I keep the house reasonably warm and the humidity higher so that my airways don't suffer too much, especially in the cooler months. For sport, I know my limits and don't push it too hard.
