Oil or Water?

I would live in an oil rich country. cause, they can then buy water and everything else. but having water means you only have water and most countries do have water.

Water is mystical, magical and spiritual. Water blesses us with its richness and clarity. Our bodies are near 98% water, giving us a natural communion with it. The sound of water is pleasing and the rush of a waterfall is exhilarating. Water flows in freedom. Oil is dark and mysterious. So at odds with our environment and so angry with our misuse. Oil doesn't flow through us and it leaves nasty stains. Running my hand through water is sensual while running my hand through oil is messy. Oil is mean, while water is forgiving. Spilled oil kills birds and fish. Spilled water returns to nature. Water only kills to take back the land we stole away. I can drink water or I can gag on oil. If the oil spilled doesn't overcome the amount of water we need and if the water forgives our planet and decides to replenish us. we will be the richer for the water. Now that humans have messed up this planet, one precious commodity will stand against the other. I chose water for its forgiving properties.

water water water!! i dont care about the oil.. with the curent status of my country and if it was rich in oil.. our country wouldnt be as wonderful as other countries rich in oil as now because there are just too many corrupt officials in here. water is life.. i choose life. if i do not have a car what am i to use oil for? at least i will live if i can have a glass of clean water everyday... :)_

Hi metal_monkee! I do live in the same country but I would rather be a citizen of the oil rich country and then have much money so I can afford to live in any country rich in water. haha... I want to like live in the oil-rich country,such as Iraq. There people are wealthy,but also lack the water supply. I may use the petroleum to exchange other national the water source. In the petroleum-rich countries,people's living standards are very high,each all has the compact cars,but has the good water supply country,the people is not very wealthy. Therefore i choose the oil-rich countries.

I much prefer living in a water rich country than in an oil rich country. Without water we cannot survive. I am lucky right now we have abundant of water here in our country. Especially this summer season when everything heats up.

I would prefer to live in place where water is not scarce.what i will do with oil.i would want a few litters of oil daily for my bike or car but i want a couple of buckets of water daily for drinking,cooking and bathing and cleaning purposes.after all water is our life and oil is luxury.thanx.

hi metal_monkee~~ i will prefer living in water rich country.water means life.everything in the world can't live without water.it's the source of life.but oil doesn't. when i was a child,i enjoy playing in the water--swimming,water-fighting,diving.the water makes me feel tender and sensitivity.the country just like norway and sweden is better. thank you for your attention.

I would rather be rich in water. Water is life, if you have a problem with oil prices walk, you can't live without water. So I would rather have my thirst quenched than a bucket full of oil for my car.

water is life, we cant live without water but we can live without oil. besides we can produce oil thru coconut trees. but we cant produce water from oil. i like to stay in my current place. even the cost of oil exceed, at least we can live.

I can live without oil but not without water. I mean there's solar energy and stuff. Who would want to drink oil????

Interesting. My first reaction is - water, of course! But thinking about it, I come from a country which is richer in oil than water, and I love it. I do wish we had more water though, or at least a better balance of water across the country.
