it all depends on what type of video file u wish to play....there r many formats for movies that r released in internet.....i think the best software that possibly can play all video formats includeing DVD is VlC media player it's the best player i've seen...the only video format it doesn't play is the quick time video....download the file open it in vlc media player and watch and enjoy!!!!!

It's more likely because you're missing some video codecs. Codecs are files in windows that tell the computer how to decode the data in certain media files. Different media files have different formats and thus require different codecs. Go get g-spot which will tell you if you have the needed codecs for a file (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/)...
Also, there is a good codec pack out there called CCCP (http://www.cccp-project.net/) Which I use and have never had any problems with in the more than a year that I have been using it.

So you've downloaded the movies! Want to see It! Then you need 1. Monitor, 2. Flash Player, 3. Real player or Windows Media Player and last Speakers. Search the file you downloaded and play the player.
