Do you ever wonder where the time goes?

My husband is away for a couple of days and its nice to have the house to myself but the time just flys by. I get up take my son to school, come home walk the dog, did a tip run, went and got petrol and then went shopping for a couple of essentials, came home, tidyed up all my paperwork that was lying around, checked my emails, hoovered the stairs, had some lunch, took the dog out, just checking emails again and i've got 5 mins before geing my son from school and then taking him swimming! Crazy, sometimes I do wish there was more hours in the day but I guess they would just be filled with tidying up and general bits they wouldn't be used to sit and relax, maybe its just me .. . is your day as crazy as mine?

Time flies when your having fun or really busy. But it seems to slow down when your waiting for some thing. I know my husband and I were going away for a weekend, the first weekend alone since our daughter had been born 15 months prior. Anyway we scheduled it about 3 weeks ahead of time - that 3 weeks seemed like it took forever to get to. It seems like time is against us either way.

gee you have a very busy day, I have a very easy life but I still think as one gets older time seems to go faster, it is a bit like when you are young time is like climbing a mountain then when you get older it is like running down that mountain...

Yeah I agree with you when you say time goes faster as you get older. I remember when I was young I really wanted to reach certain milestones i.e. 16 to get my ears pierced, 17 to drive and 18 to be legal to drink etc! Now I'm getting on for 30 and my son is nearly 5 and those last 5 years have flown by!!
