Well I no longer work. I have been disabled for a long time. But when I did work I only had to drive about 5 miles to work each day. it was very close to my house. The traffic was not bad either, not like in the big citys. With the gas prices the way they are now, I am sure it is very hard on those that have to drive a long way to get to work and back. How far you you have to drive to get to work?

It really depends sunkissed. I really drive fast so I only need a few minutes to reach my work. But traffic is also a factor to consider. If there's no traffic or traffic is light, driving from home to work would take me about 5 minutes. If traffic is moderate, that would take me about 10 minutes. If traffic is heavy, it would take me up to 20 minutes. But with the new rerouting scheme in place, driving from home to work would take me an additional 2-5 minutes.

I am a full time mom and have been for about 4yrs now. So drivingto work is not an issue for me at all. But I do have to drive my kids to and from school which is about a 10min drive total.

Yes, with gas prices that could get rough for him. Good you don't have to leave the house.

Hi there, it takes about 12 minutes for me to drive to my working office if the traffic is not congested otherwise I have to spend another extra 5 minutes or so to reach my destination on time. Luckily that my working place is still considered to be quite near when compare with other colleagues. So I still could afford for the petrol.

Presently, am not driving. I take public transportation to and from. I am retired now. The distance where I worked was close to my home. Can emagine with gas price being so high; what people is paying to get to and from work. I would presume some folks would probably resort to public transportation again.
