My Fiance and I seem to have a shared addiction to mylot.com . We will wake up in the morning, and in most cases come to mylot before getting any breakfast. When it comes to supper we will sit here for atleast 20 minutes more.... I'll ask him if he is ready to go get something to eat, or to do whatever task we need to do, and he will say "wait a minute, let me comment on this" and then as soon as he's ready i'll say "Hold on, let me respond to this". Does anyone else find themselves in the same predicament? My Fiance and I are always on mylot together as we both use different computers. I have a laptop whereas he is using a desktop. Even if you do not have anyone else here that you know in real life, do you still find yourself delaying things that need to be done to come here and respond or discuss?

I know baby we do seem to share the addiction of having to be on mylot or where we have to get on mylot just to see what we made the day before. Its kind of funny that we will get on mylot before we even think about what we want for breakfast,or that we will sit there and postpone going for supper, because one or the other is responding to a discussion or is creating a discussion,it is preatty cool that we can mylot together though, and that we can help each other if we think that we could add something to our responses.Im sure that there are other people out there who are in the same boat.

Yes I am glad that we have a laptop so that we can both be online. It does also help so that I can give you advice on your discussions as well as you on mine. I love the way we play mylot tag though... it's as if we can't get off of it long enough to decide whether were going to eat or not.

Yeah I like the feeling of us both being able to be online at the same time, and I know we are always playing mylot tag,and it kinda sucks that we only stop to decide what to eat,or when its time for bed.

I am sure eye lingers to the computer, and you just want to get on here so bad? I know that I Couldn't do that, I'm getting lazier just by being on here. There are a million things I could and should be doing right now, but they will get done!

LOL That is really cool that you have the same addiction. My husband and I use to share a Lineage II addiction. Since we stopped playing we haven't synced up like that again.

It is a MMORPG. I don't feel neglected at all, we just do different things.

I have heard of lineage 2, but am not sure exactly what it entails. It is a game, right? I am sure that this hype will soon quiet down, but I am glad that we are spending so much time doing something that we both can enjoy. I don't feel bad neglecting him, because he's doing the same for me.

I know what RPG stands for, but what does MMO stand for?

its funny you write this, I must have been having this tought write as you were writing it. I had to finish responding to something else, and I was going to write this as a discussion topic, but you beat me to it. :) My boyfriend has no idea that Mylot exists, but i think i might have to tell him tonight, I feel like im cheating or something. He knows im on some website all the time, but im sure he thinks im trying to buy a whole closet-full of clothes. As for delaying stuff, the last week(since I joined on Saturday), I mylot the entire evening as well as working online from home. Then about an hour before my boyfriend gets home from work, I make a mad dash around the house, wipe everything off, start laundry, start dishes, start dinner, so its looks as though ive been cleaning all day, and everything is cool when he gets home. I suppose maybe I'll fess up tonight..

I told my fiance as soon as I found it because I knew that I would soon get addicted, and I have. I actually have got him to join and he can't seem to stop posting either. He loves looking at the discussions just as much as I do. Maybe your bf will do the same thing? Atleast I don't have to come up with an excuse as to why something hasn't been done, but, as said above, we do have a problem with eating on time! Oh well, as long as we're neglecting each other equally!

I had to start giggling when you wrote about how you reread your first line. It did sound mighty serious, as if it was a mission impossible. Master dork? I hope he doesn't recruit my fiance, he's already my sweet little dork....

Maybe I'll get him trapped him the car and start out with "There's something I need to tell you...(ridiculously long pause for effect)...I'm addicted to this website". I can only imagine the look I will get. :) I think I might just do that. I have to pick him up from work in an hour or so, so Ill have a captve audience on the way home. HA! I've amused myself! My boyfriend is more of a video games dork at the moment(Call of Duty 4 is the new obsession, and ill actually admit, its not terrible, in fact its actually fun). He still plays MTG(Magic the Gathering) which is the ultimate dork-fest, but its not so bad. Now if only I could get off of here to go to the grocery store...
