Can you sleep with or without an aircon? what is commonly the cool level everytime you use it? We don't have an aircon and we are not used to it. So, it's ok for us the standing fan or sailing fan. Sometimes none of the above.. My friend got married to a person who like and can't live without an aircon. Everytime they got sleep..she couldn't stay long in their room. Coz her husband used the coolest level and she same as me that not used to it..So, many times she transfered to their living room and slept in the couch. His husband noticed about that and a little bit concerned about that matter. One time she woke up..the aircon was put in the lowest level.. She just smiled and pity while looking to her husband that the entire body was sweating all over... Her husband can't hardly to sleep without an aircon but tryin and willing to adjust for her..Sound so sweet right?

That does sound sweet We also don't have air conditioning in our house. We only have a few fans since the other ones we have all broke down for some reason. I even noticed that we get to save a lot of energy and pay quite a little in the electric bill now that we only have a few fans than we use to.

uhhh..that was so sweet..trying to adjust for the person he really loves. me too, I am not use to an air conditioned room. because my back really aches whenever I stay in the room which has air condition on it. but if the climate is really hot, I turn it on and put it in a low level..

When I am in a hot country I can happily sleep with or without aircon. The first aircon system I experienced was in St Lucia and that was the start of my traveling to tropical places. The aircon system was noisy and the climate was hot as well as humid. When I was in Queensland in Australia I stayed in accommodation with and without aircon and in fan cooled rooms as well. I think that the aircon felt cool like a fridge and the real air temperature outside was really warm. When I was in Singapore I shared a dorm with other travelers. The girl from Israel turned the aircon off and the guys from Canada woke up feeling way too warm. They were sweating all over. It is funny that your friend got married to a man that can't live without aircon. Good luck to them I hope that they will adjust to living together.

Although I have air-conditioners in all my bedrooms since I purchased my apartment, I seldom turn them on. My wife doesn't take to the cold too well, so usually we opt to have the fan turned on in our bedroom when we sleep. All these years, we've tried not to get too used to aircon such that we can't do without it to sleep. I know some people who must have aircon on when they sleep. I'm ok with just having the fan, and in the hotter months like now, we just turn the fan on at a higher speed. We've managed to save quite a bit on electricity by not using aircon. To me, having aircon or fan is no big deal...it's all a matter of getting used to.

Mostof the time unless its just terrifically hot we just use box fans as running the air conditioner a lot really runs up the electic bill. I hate it to get too cold too. We never use it at nightr as nights usually will cool down here even in the hottest months here in Southern California and I hardly ever have my fan on at night either.

Yes, what a such considerable husband. I think i'm more on your friend type, quite scare of cold atmosphere. I can stay in a aircond room for the whole night, just that i need to cover myself with a blanket. At the same time, i actually also can stay in a room that without aircond.
