Which do you like better-- shopping for food or clothing? Why?

I rarely go clothes shopping because of the cost of the clothes and a dislike for trying on things and having to brush and rebrush my hair, apply make-up etc. yet I love going food shopping and seeing what is there...
What do you like better, food shopping or shopping for clothes and why?
What are the things that you like and dislike about food and clothing shopping?

itrs a pain either way food shopping I am just tired of tring to figure out what to cook . Clothes they hardly ever have what I like .
Dont like to try on clothes so if I buy anything its a guess as to what fits also I like certain kinds of clothes and some they seemed to have stopped making so guess Ihave to wait til they come back in to style

Sorry that it is a pain either way...
I hope that you find some fun things that you like to cook so that kind of shopping tip will be better.
I understand about the clothes shopping as my body appears to be out of style... grins...

Clothing, food is just boring to me since I am always getting the same things each week. I like shopping for clothing because there is always variety when it comes to that and I can show all my new findings to everyone I know.

That ability to show off what you buy clothing wise is a nice one... I see why you like clothing shopping better.
If you liked to cook more, and tried out more food choices, you might like to food shop more too...

I love shopping whether be it for food, clothing shoes or whatever necessity. When shopping for food or groceries I do it on a regular basis and it is during Saturday. Now for clothing and other luxuries I do it when necessary. I don't like to shop when the shopping places are crowded. I can't shop well if there are too long queues. I hate waiting actually so as much as possible I don't shop during peak hours and pay days.

Clothes, definitely. Shopping for food is kind of a must for me, which makes it less interesting and even boring, while shopping for clothes is for fun, so I enjoy that much more. Also, I have always been really interested in fashion, so I guess that makes a difference as well.

i love hair and makeup and fashion although i have allowed following my passion to die abit since the birth of my son i think it is more because the is other things i need to spend my money on more! I love clothes shopping more than food shopping but i also like to do the food shopping and prepare the family meal.

I like both really. though sometimes when i go shopping for clothes i get fed up because i can't find what i want, and sometimes when i go shopping for food i get fed up because i can't find anything i want.
and sometimes i enjoy them both.
