How patient are you?Are you the sort of person who can control their temper?Or are you the sort of person who is on a very short fuse and,as we say, blows their top, loses their rag, hits the roof at very short notice,at the drop of a hat?In other words are you irascible or phlegmatic? I consider myself calm and peacfull,I very rarely blow my top and always try to remain calm no matter what. But if somebody is asking for it,I always let him have it :)

I'm okay in the patience department and I can control my temper or I should say it doesn't control me. Not very many things or people can push my button. I am pretty laid back and don't sweat the petty sh**. I can ignore bad behavior and bad people with the best of them, but if and when you flip my switch I blow like a volcano and god help those that are in my path. I'm not proud of that, it's just the way it is.

Thank you. If I don't defend myself and sit around waiting for someone to do it for me I'll be very disappointed at the turn out if I survive. If you don't put some value on yourself no one else will either.

I think of myself as very patient. I have been told that I have more patience than most. However, I may have a long fuse but it is not endless. And there is a very very big bomb sitting at the end of that fuse. Another thing is that my fuse may be really long when it comes to most things but there is this WHOLE separate fuse dedicated to those who mess with my kids. Talk about me, walk all over me and likelyhood is that I'm going to let it go of for a long time before I blow my top but if you cross my kids and I know it is unnecesary or cruel or uncalled for then I turn into a mother bear protecting her cubs. This is not to say I don't recognize my kids faults nor do I think they are always angels. This is to say it is my job to correct them and NOBODY has the right to be mean or cruel to a child. lol I think I rambled. again....

I appreciate your patience for posting your comment. We can correct the children in a lovable way not being harsh to them.

I think every person has a different degree of patience on different situation. I myself are a proof of that. There are times that I can be the most patient person in the world but there are also instances that I can be the person who has the shortest temper. Most of the time I always maintain my patience specially to the field of work that I am with. (CSR) Patience is very needed to us. We are not allow to talk back to the clients and we must always maintain our smiles on them even they are the most stupid person on the earth we must maintain the patience But as what I said I also blew out my temper which is very rare. I think it happens only when I can no longer control the situation. Or if the circumstances are some kind of have problems of my own then also at work and it seems that working is not the best idea for now but I have to do it. That's the time I blew out.

Getting angry at the right time at the right person at the right situation...is an art.

I am a very patient person and, to borrow your own words, I consider myself calm and peaceful, too. Well, I can say that I am phlegmatic. Even during my younger days, I don't easily get into verbal battles and fights. I only retaliate when hit way beyond my limits -- but considering my high level of tolerance on most things, that very, very, very seldom happens.

I am a very patient person....nothing much gets on my nerves. It takes an awful lot to make me angry...why? Because there isn't alot in life that is worth getting upset over..yes we have trials in tribulations but unless it's life threatening it isn't really worth getting all that angry about.

I'm very patient, maybe too patient. Sometimes I put up with things that I probably shouldn't and think later that I shouldn't have been so patient about it. But if you really hurt or offend me or attack somebody I love, watch out!

patience - be strong to handle your emotion
I can say that my patience is really long as i can easily calm my self.Patience is my ability to endure waiting, delay, or provocation without becoming annoyed or upset, or to persevere calmly when faced with difficulties. But there are really times that i become so impatient. That was the time when i feel so tired and lack of sleep. All i do, is stay away from someone whom i get mad at because i can say words that are really not good for us.
