The greatest part of our happiness is knowing that our life has meaning and purpose .

I dont appreciate any troubles. Though I am happy that out of those troubles I am able to exercise my skills in decision making, and being rational all the time. You are right, knowing that our life has meaning and purpose would somehow answers all the questions we have in mind, and that would lead to happiness.

yeah, we are not perfect, so from time to time we encounter troubles in life. at first we look at troubles as some sort of a trial or a pinch by God...sometimes it hurts us...but when we ever think about them in a positive way, then we get to appreciate those troubles as a way to make us stronger than before. at times, i just smile or laughed about it, when it's finally over.

I am trying to appreciate them. I always think of the lessons I learned from the troubles I am in, etc. Appreciating one's mistakes is the same as appreciating oneself. It gains more self-esteem and self-pride. In my case, I take it positively.
