Remember the ghost in the movie "Three Men and a Baby"? Is it true?

Ghosts - Is this ghost real?

Is this really a ghost in the window? The unusual image at a window appears when Jack Holden (Ted Danson) and his mother (Celeste Holm) are walking through the house Jack shares with his two buddies. As Mrs. Holden plays with the baby girl left who was left in the three men's care, a human figure can be glimpsed standing behind the curtains of a background window at the left-hand side of the screen. A rumor has persisted for several years that this figure is the eerie image of a boy who was killed in the house where this scene was filmed.

A lot of people don't realize the "Ghost" actually appears twice in the film. The most publicized is when Danson and Holm are walking through the house. However, when he's waiting for the child's mother to show up, looking out the window, you can see it standing next to him. That one gives you a better view of what it really is.

Wow I didn't realize this. So since you have seen it what is it? Thanks for the response!

The story about it being a cut out is the true one. It was left there by mistake and the rumours have been flying about ever since! It is a little creepy isn't it!

Three Men and a Baby - photo
I have seen that picture before but to me that cutout doesn't look like the image behind the curtains. If you look at this picture the arms are to the side. In your they are out. Who knows! Thanks for the pic and the response!

I heard it was just a cardboard cutout.

Thanks for your response! According to the picture of the cardboard cutout I don't see how that is what it could be. Who knows...lol.

Those would have to be two different cutouts because the color of the pants is different, too. I had heard it was a kid that had sneaked a peek on the set. It is creepy though.

Thanks for the response. I think I could see how it was a kid but as for the cut-out to me the two look way different.

I think this rumor got debunked a while back. The Wizard of Oz on the other hand has an actual silloette of one of the stage crew accidentilly hanging themselves. You can see it in the acutal movie, saw it when I was in HS.

This is also false. It's not a person hanging themselves. it's a crane spreading it's wings.

I've never heard of this although I did see the movie. I tend to think of it as more of a publicity stunt done by the movie people. Nothing draws an audience like a ghost siting!

I am sure that is probably all that it is but it is still creepy to see it. Thanks for the response!

THE GRUDGE - the little boy fromt he movie The Grudge
that is creepy. I don't know what the real story is, but I have to say he looks like the kid from the movie THE GRUDGE just older. That makes it even creepier!

I've seen the boy in the background. It definitely is kind of eerie. I've heard it is a ghost but I've also heard that it was double exposured film. Which, is probably more likely but hey, who am I to second guess the paranormal? I've also heard that it was one of the staffs kids that sneaked onto the set to get a closer look. So, I guess I don't know the answer to your question.

Thanks for the response. I have heard the double exposed film but hadn't heard about the staff kid. I am sure the world will never know the real story....lol.
