hi dear same case is here but fortunately i am in office and its centrally air conditioned but during power failutre, its hard and best way to cope is to take shower and wear shirt with out drying, cover ur head and drink lot of water Take care, wish u all the best

Put on a damp shirt. Put a wet towel around your neck. Go someplace air conditioned (like a library.)

Well I am in UK and we are not having hot weather like you, by the sounds of it!! It is warm here today though, warmer than it has been which is nice, but it is cloudy and overcast. We do not have air conditioning, there is no need to have it over here, we just do not get weather hot enough!! I think we have been forecast rain all weekend so I am not looking forward to that as I am hoping to get my washing on the line this afternoon.

Be tolerate to nature, lady. If sheilla could, why could not you? Dont ever blame nature coz it just obeyes what Creator order it to do. But, anyway....I dont believe at all if you cannot afford to have fan, a simple electronic tool that is easely gotten anywhere in your home-town. You also can buy fruits -- fresh fruits -- to ease the hot condition. Get them as many as you need, and enjoy them all. You will feel better and get freshy too.

hello plymwish, i know exactly what you mean. yesterday and the day before it was so so hot. eventhough its always hot in all tropical countries its getting even hotter these days dont you agree? the price of global warming. tsk tsk tsk... the day before yesterday was so hot that i kept sweating the whole day. yesterday wasnt that very bad but still hot. but today im so happy because it rained! it rained the whole morning and a little bit in the afternoon. now in the evening its just cold because of the rain earlier... which still brings the promise of more rain to come i hope... hehehehe

Thank God i have an air conditioner or else the situation of me and you would be same . At this moment the temperature hear is hot so i go to Swim and DRINK COOL WATER to keep my self cool and i wont go out and play Soccer or Any other Outdoor Sport Because it just takes all ur Body Glucose and Makes You DAM Hot So during this kinda situations just be acTivE At Mylot ;).

Well, there is not something that you can do like open some windows and doors and let in some Fresh air or something? I actually live where it might have gotten 50 today if lucky so I cannot complain about it too warm here. All I can say is try and find some things to help make you feel a little more comfortable while doing some things you enjoy, and best of wishes from here. You owe it to yourself as well.

i also dislike hot days... i can't think properly and don't want to do anything during hot days... fortunately summer is gone now and we are in autumn season now... the weather has changed to be very cold now and winter is approaching... i prefer cold weather much more than a hot weather... during summer, i also usually just stay at home as much as i can except during the time that i have to go to work and grocery shopping... good luck and hope you will feel better soon...

we have had a couple of days in the 90s then the temp dropped back in the low 80s high 70s. BUt when it really gets hot we will run our misting system and get teh swimming pool up!

Yeah better still inside the house than go outside. After 4 o'clock then we can all breath free from the hot all day.

It is very humid here today in Indiana. We have had showers for the past few days here and now it is clearing up and starting to warm up. It is cludy outside but it is very muggy. the temperature is starting to rise also. I hope we get some kind of breeze today because I have my windows open.

I try to sympathize but do you know I just love hot weather and the more sun the better, plus you have a cat and I don't. But I draw cats. Lol, Hubby doesn't like it as hot as I do, so he runs the air conditioning and I freeze. But here is an idea. If you dip a clean cloth in water and wrap it around your ankles or wrists and/or your neck that works a little like an air conditioner. I was thinking about that trick and wondered if anyone wrote about it online. i am also get sweat very often if it is very hot. although it is summer in our place but the climate are different we often have rain everyday. when the rain gone it so hot so i take a bath and stay upstairs with my electric fan beside me with my computer also to participate here. sometimes i take off my shirt to eliminate hotness.

Try some board games and something else that would take your mind off the heat. Sometimes I just turn up my music really loud and it really tunes everything out including time itself 0_o.

It is not hot here in Baguio City. I am living on top of the mountain and the weather is cooler than in the lowlands. It is also summer here in the Philippines and it is hot and humid in the lowlands. But up here in the mountain, it is raining every afternoon. The rain should come by June, and I heard we have La Nina. It is expected we will have more rain this year. I do hope there will be no catastrophic floods.
