So does anybody want to hear anything about it? Ask away, ask away! We had a blast and I mean blast! I met Marc Emery at the Vapour Lounge on Yonge Street, Toronto. How cool! I didn't know such places existed. I visited the Hemp Store there and stocked up on supplies. Cool supplies. Did you know there was such a thing as cellulose papers? They are clear, see-through, but not plastic, organic material. Just amazing! They put themselves out when you stop smoking and do not wastefully exhaust smoke whilst smoking either. I've never seen so many bongs in my life! Rows and rows of them! And Marc was great! We were waiting for him to arrive at the Vapour lounge as it was noted on his website in his itinerary that he would be there then, he was a little late, but we were outside on the street. So apparently he gets out of a cab and I spun around and said, "Hey, that's Marc Emery!". So what does he do, but make a beeline for me, gives me a big hug and a kiss and poses for a picture with me. How cool! The Prince of Pot himself. Wow! Then we go upstairs, hee hee, no, to the vapour lounge, with others of the same persuasion, to sit and smoke and talk. So Marc gets up from his table and joins us!!!! I'm still flabbergasted! But quite impressed as I found him to be a down to earth fellow. We talked about his extradition, that he is now fighting, and they are trying for more jail time than the 5 yrs he had agreed to, but the CDN govt wouldn't play ball. I/we hoped that this is Canada's way of interfering with the ridiculous amount of jail time they are trying for. I asked him how the fight against Bill C-26 is going. And he advised to continue fighting it, the hope is that it will be opposed too much and it will die. So keep writing those letters to your MP's and anyone else who will listen. I wish you all could have been there with me. It was an experience I will certainly remember. I will hope to make it an annual trip now that I know about it.
