Do you have a lot of people to buy for?

We recently spent $400 on presents for the kids. We don't have a lot of money this year. By the time it's done I'd say we've spent about $600 - $1000. I am a stay at home mom so the cash is limited. I'm sure that others spend way more than we do. My sister and her hubby (no kids) spend about four times that. They haven't figured out that they are actually losing out by not having kids.

Being a stay at home mom means that you are giving your kids a special gift EVERY DAY! That is so much more valuable than any of the "stuff" that an extra income would buy.

Lay-away is such a smart thing to do! I didn't know that stores still did that until one of my friends mentioned that she had stuff on lay-away.

WAY too much! LOL I try not to count up the amount or look at it too closely, but I would have to say between $500-$700.

I usually just buy what I need to, without being as careful as I probably should about the budget!
