Can't Windows Movie Maker do the job? I think it should. Maybe you should give it a try?

Yes, Windows Movie Maker is easy to use. You can also save the movie to your preferred size. But then, balance the size and the video quality. Reducing the size can affect the quality of the video. You can also try using Pinnacle or Adobe Premiere. :)

You can't use nero for that, you need a specific video converter for FLV format. I been searching for one also and sorry to tell no luck yet. Hey at least you'll know what to find.

The only option really is to compress them to a mpeg4 format. Open Nero Recode and there is an option to "Recode DVDs and videos into Nero Digital". The result will be a mpeg4 format known as Nero Digital, although it is not a guarantee that everyone will be able to play the video, depending on which codecs they have installed. The suggestion of Windows Movie maker would also work.

Windows Movie Make are an easy program to use. If you want an more advanced video editing program, you should try Sony Vegas. To compress the file you can use DivX converter. Compressed a 900 MB Sony Vegas video file to 35 MB.
