I admit I was. Sometimes I try to come out with difficult topics that I thought will be weel received and response and it turn out only 1 or 2 or even zero people response them. But sometimes when i just open an easy topic like fav vegetables etc, I got so many responses. Sometimes I wonder if i just keep posting easy topics than carefullt thought ones. So how about you?

I don't get disappointed because I just figure the discussion just didn't interest anyone. I don't take no response to my discussions personally. I have thought about what makes one discussion get many responses and another discussion will either get one or two responses or sometimes none. I used to get disappointed when I first joined here but now I don't worry about it.

Maybe its will be okay for me too if I at least reach my 1000 post. Much work to do. Although seems like this topics get a few positive response in a second.

It appears that a discussion should start with some sort of question. If this question is difficult to understand, how can we answer it?

Eventually someone will leave a comment. I used to get stressed when a post would go for a day or two with no replies or posts but now its not a big deal.

i have a bunch of discussions that left with zero responses, it really makes me upset, but i have about thirty four responses maximum and it makes me happy very much, a lot of them are with less than ten responses, yeah you are right, if you post easy topics like "what does your avatar represent?" lol, don't try to ask that question, i think it has been asked, lol, anyways have a nice mylotting!!

Hi thanks gmwgreat for the response. Seems like new members like us are struggling getting people answering our topics. Maybe after we got more than 1000 post and had lots of friends here, it will be different.

Frankly speaking, I do get disappointed when I dont get response for my discussions. I always tried to create discusion that requires questioning. But in my view best discussion is to tell your problem, worries and there are many sophisticated people who will provid you with the right answer.

I think it happens to everyone. I had a friend who posted a lot of very serious and insightful discussions, and yet his most popular one was a silly one about dogs licking plates. Bleh. I'm pretty lucky these days with having a lot of friends who help me out here, but that's because I've been here for so long and been so active. Hopefully you'll have better luck in the future as well!

Thx lecanis. Sometimes it frustated me also when I try serious topic, probably only 1-5 people responded to my topic. But if I just started easy topics, it have 20-40 replies. Amazing, really.

When I was still new here at myLot, I get disappointed and really frustrated when I find that some of the discussions I have started do not have responses. Sometimes I wonder what could be wrong with my discussions. Later on, I realized that somehow, I just have to be patient. I found out after a few weeks that they were responded to anyway. From then on, I did not bother much about my topics that do not get responded to because I knew that they will get some responses and all I have to do is patiently wait. Sometimes it is really important to think about interesting topics that could attract members here.

Yes, you are right. The easier way is to make a topic that all people love to response. Example: the mylot topics or "life" topic. Topic that are not so populat usually not a big hit . Like when I asked about old sitcom, no one answer me.

of course i get disappointed... because before i start a discussion, i try to evaluate it first.. and usually, discussions i start or the questions i have here are those that i really want an answer... i like getting opinions from all sort of people and i wish to get insights here... so if know one gets to answer, i feel bad.. just like one of my discussions asking what a good blog name will be for my new blog, no one responded.,. and til now, i can't seem to think of a good blog name for that certain blog...

Same here too , i get really disappointed when topics which i feel aught to get responses ends up with zero or few responses. Discussions like why do you like music gets more responses then the discussions which we think are interesting and might get attention of the mylotters , so posting easy topics is really what get more response and hence boost up your my lot earning .

Same thing here too, when ever i feel i created a very good topic to discuss upon and I get no response or minimal response i get very much disappointed , try everything in the book just to make my discussion interesting and get more responses but ,sometimes nothing works so that really disappoints me.Topics like why do you like music get more response the well thought ones.
