I went to my friend Jane's.It's about half past 6 in the afternoon, her dog kept barking. "Why is your dog whining and looking at you so expectantly?",I asked. "Don't worry. It's the time of day. He always does that around now."said Jane,"He wants me to take him out for a walk, but I like to tease him a bit by pretending not to notice."Jane said that you have to walk a dog every day because it needs the exercise to stay healthy. Well,I don't have a dog.But I think it would be great to take a walk with your dog,you got yourself company, enjoy time together ,don't feel lonely at all, wouldn't it? Do you walk your dog everyday?Do you have some funny stories about your dog to share?I think it would be great!

In my country, everybody don't guide the dogs go out. Everybody afraid the dogs bit. So I can't walking my dog go out. I just agree for them to go play in my garden.

I walk my dog at least 4 or 5 times a week. He's a big lab/golden retriever mix so he needs a lot of exercise. We've had him since he was 2 and I was 8, and we kind of trained him to calm down when we pass by other dogs and animals on the walk. xD

hi megumiart, yes our dogs need a walk and i have a dog that i walk almost everyday. she's an hyper active dog so i really need to give her a walk, i just can let her walk without her leash cause she runs anywhere she wants and it's hard to get her back, the only thing that can make her come back is if you have a treat for her. hehehe.. anyway, i just want to always take care of my dog and i don't want her to run in the road where cars can hit her. it's nice to have a dog and i love my dog so much that's why i spend so much time with her and i take care all her need which includes walking her outside.

I can't really. It's more my parent's and sister's dog, and they didn't leash train her well, so she PULLS. And having a bad knee, and her being so strong, I can't walk her without risking seriously injury.

I walk my dog almost everyday... that is one of my favorite excuses to get off my laptop for sometime in the whole day to exercise myself along with a walk that genie (my pomerian female-dog) enjoys a lot...

I personally do not walk the dog on a regular basis but my husband or son will walk her almost everyday. She gets so excited and something I think she looks forward to daily. I will join them on some occassions and do enjoy it. I really don't know why I don't go more often, something to think about. I need the exercise as well.

I don't have a dog now because I am to busy and and not at home enough so I thought it would not be fair to a dog. When I did have a dog, it was my best friend, we went every where together. I had this dog for 19 years before it passed away in his sleep from old age.I used to walk for a few miles and his favorite treat was in the Spring and Summer time I would take him to an ice cream shop (Dairy Queen) and get a cup of water and a cup of vanilla ice cream for him. He loved it and so did the people watching him eat it. He got spoiled by me and petted by every one there too.

yes, i try to walk my chis though not everyday since somedays we are busy. as much as I can, i do try to walk them when time allows and the weather permits. Most of the time we bring them up to our building penthouse and let them run around.

I haven't walked her everyday, only because she hasn't gotten all of her shots. We go this weekend to get her her last shots. Once we do that we can take her on longer walks. My husband and I normally just walk her to the mailbox and back, only because the vet said we should start taking her out but not too far or long. I can't wait to take her on those long walks with my husband. It would be a great time for us. But since we don't take her outside all the time we normally run around the house and she gets her exercise trust me. I wish you could see her when she runs around. She goes crazy, but its so cute.

When I aquired Domingo, he wasn't really leash-trained being he was always either locked up in a cage or tied to a 6' rope. Walking has helped him learn how to walk nice on a leash. Even now, he has full run of the acre yard plus the 3 acres of woods around us that there is no need to walk him. Whenever I go for walks, thou, I bring him with just so he remembers how to walk on a leash. My daughter, who will be 10 in a few weeks, likes to walk him up and down the street in front of our house or just round the yard. He's reallygood with her even thou he could pull her down and drag her if he wanted to.

We have 5 dogs & no we don't walk them everyday - but we do let them all run around the yard (our yard is very large as we live on a farm) everyday. When we do take walks we always take 2 of the dogs with us though.

Fortunately, we live in the country where that has never been a concern. Since that is the case, we dont walk them every day, but they do get attention every day.

Hi!! I don't think it is necessary to walk my pet regularly, but whenever at the evening I'm going for a stroll, I noticed that he on this own interests accompanies me. It is very funny to see him sometimes following me or sometimes going ahead of me.
