Need some advice on starting my own busniess..

Well i am not much of designer so i am do not see on which colors to use or the layout of the website. Yes can i use css but i am not getting teh result i want. Basically the presentation part of the website..

Honestly the best thing to do is to pay someone else to do it. Designing the website is something I know little to nothing about. I paid a graduate student in IT studies to do my website, as well as set up a marketplace to sell items using paypal. If you know what you are doing computer-wise, they are not that hard to design, but updating nad entering new information is the problem. I would make sure that if you have it designed by someone else, that you tell them you may want to add more information later, and if that's possible. Paying someone who is not actually in the business yet will save you tons of money, and many of the graduates know more about the new technology then those that you would pay. I have a site where you can post what you need and web designers bid on them(like ebay style) and you pay them after they finish the project for you. Thanks coolseeds, but i do know how to program websites. But i am looking a web designer to design only. Cause i am not much of person who is creative in making use of shapes and color. But i am considering paying for someone to do it up. Thanx for the advice...
