Let's spare a thought for the people of Burma....

The storm in Burma has left people devastated with more than 25,000 dead and 50,000 homeless! Ataying alive could never get worse. I pray for ppl in Burma. Pls join me in showing love and care. God bless.

Candee, they are in prayers and I wish quick recovery. These are natural calamity but what would you say to man made ones like in Jaipiur on May 14! I am devastated at the selflessness and dehumanity. When will this stop? We have had enough let's have the message loud and clear. Just stop it!!

Hi I think since this posting the numbers are rising by the minute. Prayers are being said right now for all these poor people that are suffering and I only hope that their Government allow the hep to get through to the people. I am trying to actively help through Christianaid, I know Save the Children and Oxfam are too. Here in the UK I know we are sending out as much help as we can. Latest figures I think are 100,000. Hi Candee, I have just this minute heard that the first UN plane with aid has been allowed to land after 6 days crazy isn't it. Lets hope Burma start let more through as quickly as possible, forget the politics and think of the people. Prayers are being said around the world for the now. Ellie :D

Ellie, that's good news. Politics must not be at the cost of lives! I heard that the militants are creating problems and are not allowing even Red Cross! This is bizarre. Let's pray.
