I was wondering if others tag all of thier responces because sometimes I just don't know what to tag them when I see the tags would be the same as what I would use. So, do you tag all of your responces? Thanks much.

Yes, I usually tag all my responses but I don't really know whats the use of them. Whats tag for anyway?

if you put tags people will know what the discussion is about. like keywords when you're doing a search. will also let people find similar or related topics from the same tags. e.g. discussion on how to get rid of pimple. put zit, acne, pimple, breakout, get rid of pimple (and the like) will let people who search on the keyword 'zit' to find the discussion eventhough no 'zit' appears in the question

At first I did not tag my responses here but I learn that you could get your points higher when you tag your discussions. Higher points means higher earnings. So tag your discussion to earn more.

I usually tag only my own discussions, so that they get into the right categories, as far as other posts, I rarely tag those discussions, there is always enough tags put on them anyhow as far as I am concerned.

Not usually. I figure the person that started the discussion put in the tags they wanted.

Ever since I participated in discussions here in this site, I have made it a habit to at least put in one word as a tag. I often type in the the topic the discussion has been going through, the title also helps if you can't seem to think of any tag to type.

well, when i start my own discussions, i will surely tag them, but when i come up in commenting, i don't like to tag, because everybody will tag their discussions when the start them, so when i tag it will be repeated with the tag's of the starter of the discussion, i don't like to see repeated tags, that's why, and i don't want to waste my time tagging my comments, have a nice mylotting!!

I don't tag my responses as I feel the poster who posted the discussion has put the tags that they woudd like to have on their discussion. If I start a discussion I will tag it though so posters can see what the discussion is about.

It only takes a second to add a word or two, so I always do. It will help the discussion when someone uses the myLot search box and it could make your post appear in search engine results.

I do try to tag my discussions and responses if I'm not in too much of a rush. I don't think that tagging directly adds to your earning, but indirectly it does because it allows your discussions, or those that you've participated in, to be shown in the list when people do a search on one of your tag words. And if more people see your discussion then you will hopefully get more responses and more earnings.

Tagging your discussions and responses allows others to find them easier when they search for those keywords. This will bring more readers and comments to your discussions and responses. I also believe this may help your earnings. Personally, I do occasionally tag my responses, it depends on the situation. Sometimes you may think of a keyword for the discussion that the original poster did not think of, so you are helping them out, but you are also helping yourself if anyone else replies to your comment on that discussion.

No, I dont tag every single response and if I do, I use one or two words. Though I do tag most of them, not all.

Yes, I always tag my own discussions as well as my responses. I may not use all the ten tags that we are permitted, but I do try and use as many as I am in a mood to, this means that each of my discussions or responses have at least three tags, Tags make it easier to search,a s well make it easier for the discussions to be displayed below a discussion with similar themes or words, it makes the discussion more visible and hence could result in better participation.

I never tag my responses. I feel they are an unnecessary wastage of time and elaborate red tap.

Hi! Yeah, I do tag all of my responses. Its doesnt necessarily ahve many tags or the maximum 10 tags pers response but I do tag them with at least one word if I cant think of any. Yeah, I ahve noticed that some of the words I have thought of to tag it with are already given. I guess this is alright and if there was any double, only 1 would be into the tag list. Surely there must be more word taht might relate to the discussion that you have responded to. You dont also have to tag every discussion that you respond to. Its just optional and I dont think anythign will be gone form you if you dont tag it. Well, hope that helps somehow. Have a nice day.^_^
