I am so dang tired!

I have been so tired lately. I haven't been on mylot for two nights running and thats pretty unusual for me. A day doesn't go by that I don't check in one way or another. Yes, I've been to work, but I haven't put in any more hours than the normal person. Although, I am on my feet all day. I don't know if its menopause, an ongoing health condition or the weather, but it feels like I can barely get through the day. I've heard other people complain about it recently too. They just feel completely exhausted, so perhaps its not just me. What about you guys, are you feeling the same? Is it because its the middle of the week, or what gives?

Has the weather where you are changed in anyway recently? If the weather has gone from cold to mild or hot then that will make you feel tired. You could just be a bit run down or lacking something in your diet. I have felt tired in the last couple of days but this is because the weather has changed here and gone from being in the 50s to being in the 70s the last couple of days!! It has worn me out, but it has been beautiful!!

I don't know where you live but people up north feel it after a long hard winter, with less day light try to get in as much sunshine as you can, and maybe some vitamin pills with iron or fiber may also help out.

I think the vitamins might be a good idea, but I live in an area which is sunny and hot just about all year round. I don't think I'm missing anything the sun could supply. LOL.

Perhaps the body is signalling time for a break? For me, I attribute it to the hot weather. I keep feeling tired even though I have been turning in early for few nights.

I've been going to bed early too, around 9p, but I get up feeling just as tired as when I went to bed. I can hardly function it feels like. I feel like I could sleep all day if given the opportunity.

If you have enough hours of sleep and yet feel tired, could it be burnout? At times, I sweat it out. The tiredness goes away after that.

I don't know what is going on, but I'm the same way. I can't seem to get going in the mornings and then I get worn out so fast. I do think menopause is part of it. I need to exercise more, maybe with the warmer weather I can get outside and walk. That almost makes me tired just thinking about it.

LOL. Makes me tired reading about it. I should exercise more too, but I know I won't. Sad isn't it?

Maybe you should take a day off and just do one thing--sleep!^^Usually it works, for me.When you wake up,you will find the sky is so clean, the air is so fresh! Taking a shower is also a good way of relax.Or you can go to some beautiful places, such as park,to stay for a while.Walking in the street, watching the people, seeing the trees,birds...just thought of nothing!Hope you will be ok and full of energy soon!

I would like nothing better, but usually my days off are spread out over the week, instead of two together and there isn't enough hours in that one day.

i find that i have been really tired lately, but i think it is because of the constant severe pain that i am in because of my knees. i have severe arthritis in both of my knees and find it hard to get around (but i still need to work because my hubby only is working part time currently).

Tiredness is a constant affliction for me I am afraid k! It isn't even as though I do anything to get tired but the dr says it is the pain and the depression it causes that have made me so constantly exhausted! I would say if you keep feeling this way a trip to the drs may be in order - just for a check up. It could be something as simple as being a bit anaemic. Hope you feel better soon! xxx

I dont know why I am so tired as unlike most of you I am not working and am retired. but I do have an ever'recurring insomnia and often do not fall asleep until three I fall asleep and sleep until around nine in the morning. I am not getting quite enough sleep so I fall asleep; at my computer.lwake up to find a string of one letter running clear across my response and have to retype and reword my response. One of my recent responses escaped me and it looked like Ihad just typed afew words and then a string of k's but upon looking more closely my response had been broken up by mylot into two pieces about ten inches apart lol.My little nap only made me more tired.

I'm sorry you are so tired Hatley, but your description about falling asleep is pretty funny. I've done that before.

Nope, not me. Maybe you are just short a few vitamines for vigor. Try taking a multi vitamin daily or even more exercise that tires you actually invigorates and gives more energy. It could also be a symptom of depression, too. Many factors to consider, really. I haven't done menopause yet, but maybe. I'm not sure.

I think maybe iron is what I need, although multi-vitamins couldn't hurt either.

I felt that way recently and even had to dive into bed earlier than usual last night. I have my reasons though. I know the warm of sunny days can zap ones energy and send you into low mode. I found that my energy level went up the other day when I started taking vit E tablets. I dont usually take supplements but will definately be taking some more. (Hope the energy kicks in soon. lol)

Someone else suggested vitamins too. Maybe its something I should consider, along with some iron tabs.

KB, the middle of the week for me was always a bad time and my energy levels were always low. But at the moment it is the weather, here in the Dom Rep it is so hot and muggy you can barely move. Have you thought of taking any vitamins, not sure what you can take re: your ongoing health conditions? Check with your doctor. Sometimes your blood count can be low or your sugar levels etc. If it carries on a really recommend you go check it out. Take care of yourself KB, we look forward to your discussions when you can manage them. Thanks for sharing this with us.

It's not just you hun, I have only just found the energy to sign on here, first time since last week. I did suspect it was the weather as it is so changeable at the moment, but I'm feeling wiped out.

My son has tired me out these past few days because he hasn't been well. I have restless nights so have been napping on and off when he falls off to sleep. He is feeling so much better today so he might be heading back to school tommorrow. We have visitors from Samoa coming for dinner tommorrow so I hope I'm up to cooking something or else it's take out lol

After he came home on Monday he had a headache as was feeling a bit whoozy. That evening he vomited in our car (luckily into a plastic bag) and then his temperature shot up to 100.4. It was up and down the next day and he also had an achy body. I thought it might of been a slight case of food poisoning but not sure. By Tuesday night his fever had broken and he felt a lot better by Wednesday afternoon.

yes, many have been feeling the same way too. so have i. i too think it's due to the weather changes. it's much more different than the years before due to global warming. of course there might be other reasons too like maybe not enough sleep and whichever is suitable. weather might not be the only cause but i feel it is one of the main ones out there.

I have an aweful sinus thing going on right now, it has been all I can do to get a few chores done today. I have been thinking I may have to call into work tomorrow sick. I seem to be catching every bug that comes around lately . I do not like it one bit I tell ya. So yes I am feeling tired and sick. Maybe because it is spring and we are getting more fresh air, it is waring us out. I hope you are able to feel rested soon, Katherine. I get tired of feeling tired.

I hope your sinus problems get better Deea. I think its just a phase I'm going through, happens sometimes. I'd like to take one whole day and sleep, but I just hate to waste the day off.

You are not alone. The reason for that are many to mention. It could be the weather, I agree with that because the weather recently is really unpredictable. Here in Maine, they say, if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes and maybe you will like it because for sure, it will change in 10 minutes.. I woke up this morning grumpy because I plan to run and it was drizzling out, after 10 minutes the sun shines so I just got back from jogging. It could be a health condition too. I started running a couple of weeks back and I feel lighter now than before and I don't feel too grumpy too. So maybe you have to find time for exercise and that will be hard I know because of your work. Oh well, I understand why you are tired.

Maine sounds like such a nice place to live. Somewhere I would definitely love to visit one day. Exercise? Whats that. LOL!
