So what little boy doesn't want to grow up and be in the nfl at some point. Our son's look at these football players and just adore them. Not just football players though, various sports. While these athletes are suppose to be setting good examples for young children and their fans they get into trouble over and over again. The latest one I came across which is just sickening is about an ex Minnesota viking. He was a defensive linemen name Darrion Scott so to say he is strong is an understatement. On Tuesday he was charged with assault, sure your saying ok he just got into a fight, not the case. He is being charged with holding a plastic dry cleaning bag over the head of his own 2 year old son. he was charged third-degree assault and domestic assault by strangulation, both felonies. He also was charged with endangerment of a child - a gross misdemeanor - for allegedly keeping a loaded, unsecured handgun in his unlocked nightstand, where a 2-year-old could have easy access to it. What I am not understanding is why isn't attempted murder, child abuse or neglect on this list of charges. Scott said he was playing with the child and wanted to see if the boy could get the bag off his head himself. Ok so who really plays with their kid like this. We all tell our kids not to put bags on their head. I find this hard to believe. And the mom also stated that she was out in the hallway and could hear her son crying when this was taking place. This is just sickening. One must wonder though if the judge will take it easy on him because of who he is.
