Well I like this aviator because it is bright and cheery. But I posted a discussion.
And in one of my responces I was told that I should change my aviator, because it, it is not healthy. That it is not good with people that have Migraine headaches and it could cause them to have seizures. Now I do have bad Migraines myself and also have seizures, but this has not affected me. But I am very sorry if I have caused people to have health problems. Has this aviator bothered you.So I will be changing my aviator as soon as I can figuer out how to do it again.

Nobody is going to have a seizure from looking at your icon. That is ridiculous. Don't listen to the haters. I like your icon! It makes me happy. I think you should keep it the way it is...

Sweety, your avatar is bright and cheery and definitely not hazardous to anyone's health. Your user name too is lovely and the two go so well together.
If you haven't figured it out already, there are a few weirdos here who don't fit in here but are, I guess part of the balance of people here...you know....good/bad, happy/sad, funny/nasty.
Please just ignore the negative aspects that you find here, pay no attention and don't respond to anything nasty you see.
Just keep on being your friendly, happy self.

Thank you, I really do not think they will have seizures from looking at it either. Now if they were staring at it all the time it could be differant.Most people say it brightens up their day.

I get migraines and it hasn't bothered me. I don't have seizures so can't help you on that one. My sister has them and can not look at anything that has constant movement or she will have one. I suppose that may be where the person was coming from. As I type this though it really doesn't move enough in side vision that I would think it would harm anyone. Maybe if it was bigger it would. I too think it is bright and cheery.

Tricia, I too have suffered with migraines for about 30 years. I take 2 differant medications each day, plus 2 others when needed. this aviator does not affect me, but I do not really know. I am not looking at it all day.Thank you for your response.

I love your avatar, it is bright and cheery and it is also how I see you, so I am most annoyed that someone has said that, there are loads of avatars on here that are bright and move. I really do not want you to change your avatar, it has not bothered me at all I shall miss it.

gemini,Thank You,You are alwas so sweet.This is what was said "My icon is of a nature that causes readers to have seizures or suffer servere migraine attacks.By the time some see the icon it is too late to close the window quickly.People arn't even aware this could trigger migrains and seizures for days of seeing this icon.That I need a icon less bright and not moving". I am pretty sure that if this was true then there would be a warning on the site as a whole to anyone who suffers with this sort of thing. Besides, the whole computer and all the things we surf on are full of flashing images and whatnot, I cannot see that it would affect anyone like that. If it was really flashing and dancing then maybe yes, but it is not really noticeable.

I think it is so quite, it is just different from others.
It is bright and cheerful, it may also help to brighten someones day, who knows.
I like to see moving things, but every one enjoys things differently.

Sunday,Well it brightens my day, and thats why I choose it, To brighten other peoples days as well. I have gotten alot of complimments on it.This is the first complaint so far.Thank you.

thak you, I am glad you like it. I do too. I too get bad headaches and have a seizure disorder, this is not affecting me..I am just trying to brighten up everyones day. Put some sunshine in their day.

Seriously, I got a nephew who sneezes when he gets sunshined on.

It certainly doesn't bother me; I think it's pleasant! I don't get migraines or seizures, so I guess I can't offer anything from that perspective, but I don't see how just a little animated drawing would cause someone to have that issue. It's so small anyway, and it isn't like people are going to be staring at it for hours on end-they just see it for a few seconds when they look at your post. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I think it's cute and it matches with your name! :) It sounds like someone was just trying to be difficult.

elisa thank you so much. I do have migraines i have had them for 30 years. I take pills every day for them.sometimes I will go to the Er for shots. I also have a seizure disorder since 2002.But this in no way triggers these flair ups for me.I think it is cute and cheery. I want to brighten up as may peoples days as I possoiably can!1

I'm not sure why this would affect anyone....it's a Cartoon for Cryin' out loud! Personally.....livin' here in OH.......I'll take any Sun where ever I can get it! Even if it is a Cartoon.
Please don't change it. It gives me something Beautiful to Look at.

You are right it is a cartoon. And I love the sun, I try to brighten peoples day, but I do not want to offend or harm anyone.So many people have loved my aviator I really hate to chane it. I really do not know what to do.

I get severe migraines to the point where I'm on shots and pills and this avatar has not trigger it for me and trust me there are days I wake up and there is nothing but migraine central for moi!!!!!

Bella, I do too, I have bad migraines. I take 2 prescription medicines a day for them then I also have 2 others i have for when they get real bad. i sometimes even go to the ER for shots. But this does not trigger mine either.Thank you.

Sunkissed your av is quite beautiful. it does not flash enough to cause and alarm.... It takes more lights and flash than you sun has... do not worry about it it is beautiful, and I have gotten to where I look for it. It is unique to you.

. anyway, its kinda cute, its bright, and bright colors easily get noticed. i think the one who told you to change your avatar is overreacting. a simple picture like that cant cause seizures or any serious effects on people.

oh i didnt know that such a simple-looking pic like his rotating sun-pic could actually trigger seizures? ive heard about the video games causing harm in some people, naturally coz of its bright, flashing lights and gory images, but i never thought that something as simple-looking as that pic can actually be harmful.

Hello there. I don't think that your avatar is annoying at all. In fact, it is great if most avatars could move like that. I would be the first to join should there be a feature to move my smiling face, LOL.
Do not change it since you like it so much. I think if there are people having problems seeing it, then they might want to rest their eyes away from the PC, because the radiation from PC could also contribute to seizures. Not just moving avatar.

If anyone is affected by your avatar they should not be using the internet because of all the flashing banners that appear on most websites.
Yours is a cheerful happy avatar. I don't think you need to change it.
