dog sick?

I am worried about my dog. He is acting listless. He has not eaten or drank today to the best of my knowledge. i was gone for several hours this afternoon though. He seemed pretty normal this morning,but in general has been quieter than usual. I've had him to the vet before for having bloody stools, and they are better but here is still looks like alittle blood in there. I can't tempt him to eat even with people food Has anyone ever had a similar problem? I will take him to the vet tomorrow if he is not better but I'm sure it will be expensive...
