Is the makeup important in your place?

Here the makeup isn't so important. If people have to makeup, then usually it'll be a light makeup only. We prefer to look naturally.

well as far as i see in here lots of ladies go out with make ups on..and a lot would be teens...i can go out with or without make up..even when going to work..i really dont mind since i'm not consistent of putting on some on my face...you can just find me wearing make up when there is a special occassion i have to attend to..other than that i go out without make up..it looks fine when you go out natural..

In fact teenagers don't have to makeup, as the being young is already the biggest advantage

Because you have perfect Asian skin and nice dark eye. I agree in general about light makeup. In USA and Europe make-up is used everyday. Some people call is light but it is very heavy.

Haha, it is a big praise I think different people will admire each other. Such as Asians admire that you have different colors for hair and eyes. And your skin is white etc. We are all attracted by the difference

I don't consider make-up to be very important to me. I didn't start wearing it until I was about 37 and that was because I wanted to have a more polished look at work. Now, it's just habit. I only wear it to work or maybe to church and special events once in a while. I have eye allergies, so I rarely put make-up around the eyes.

In some countries, having makeup is a polite habit. So I would like to know more about it.

Make up isn't important to me, I don't often wear it, and when I do it is usually just a touch of eyeliner and perhaps some lipstick just to accentuate those features if I'm going out somewhere special or something. I think most people in Australia are the same, we're pretty laid back. Most people who I know personally that wear a lot of make up are self-conscious and would look a lot better without it.

Not really on our campus. Not that many students wear makeups. But there are definetely many who do that. Some will wear a really heavy one to catch other's attentions. However, most of friends begin to pay more attention to makeup now, because we are going to have a job and it's better for us to know something.

You know not only a beautiful look can get attention, but also the ugly look... I don't think it's suitable to wear a very heavy makeup in usual.

I agree with you that's not that suitable for students to wear heavy makeup. But they just enjoy doing so. And yes, it can turn out to be ugly sometimes.

Hello youless!:-) In my homeland, makeup didn't use to be that important earlier, unless someone was going on marriage ceremony, special event, where women used to prepare especially. Otherwise, it wasn't a common practice for women to do makeup. Now, it's different and changing as the time pass. It seems that more women are more and more into makeup in everyday life now. And, to be honest, I don't like makeup that much unless it is light and suits personality without changing their features considerably. It isn't healthy either or so the doctors say.

I think so. After all, the cosmetics are full of chemical elements.

Hi youless! Makeup is really not that important. Women here usually wear light makeups and most women prefer to look natural. I do like it when it is just all natural for me too. If I have to wear makeup, it is very light and will still look natural. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!
