Hi there Mylotters. Have you ever been doing else i.e. working on the Computer and you were trying to listen to a background Question and then the person has finished you just answered to make them think you were listening? So what would you do if they said they wanted the whole Question all over? Would you be able to actually tell them word for word what they had actually said, especially if you didn't even properly hear the Question? Would you tell them truthfully that you did not hear it or would you just tell them and hope for the best that it is the exact words they said and hope that none of the words were wrong? Catch ya later.

It happens to me all the time. Whenever I am concentrating on something that I am doing at my pc, I sometimes donot even know that someone is talking to me or not. I have already told everyone in my family that when I am at the pc I might understand even a word that they are uttering and if they do say something that I missed I ask them to repeat the question, which sometimes they get pretty annoyed at.

Hi there. It happens to me too and I don't know how to tell them so I just go "Huh What was that?" I hope I can get better with listening. I have a slight hearing problem so I guess it's that which makes it harder. Catch ya later.

I guess I'd apologize and ask them to repeat the question. Making up stuff is not very helpful in this situation and they'd simply get mad.
