Researchers Have Found the Screams from Hell...

Canada
May 10, 2008 8:28pm CST
This was published from Finnish Newspaper named 'Ammennusatia': "A geological group who drilled a hole about 14.4 kilometers deep in the crust of the earth are saying that they heard human screams. Screams have been heard from the condemned souls from earth's deepest hole. Terrified scientists are afraid they have let loose the evil powers of hell up to the earth's surface". To read further, please visit this site http://www.amightywind.com/hell/aboutsounds.htm You can also hear its audio -- Screams of People in Pain. From the article ... we can conclude that hell may be located inside of our Earth. This has been supported from the Bible Matthew 12:40, Jesus Christ says: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH." Ephesians 4:9, says of Jesus: "Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH." You can take a look this site at http://www.av1611.org/hell.html I know that the article may be silly but my question is.... how about if it is really real? If so, our life on Earth should be based on the rules of God. So, we can't simply ignore it. Personally, I truly believe in Hell. How about you? What is your opinion with regard to the articles above? Please let me know.

My first thought is that 'Ammennusatia', the name of the newspaper in which this story appeared, might be Finnish for 'WEEKLY WORLD NEWS'! But no, it is not. It turns out 'Ammennusatia' is not a word. It is a fiction. Just like some of that newspapers stories. It is a good tale. I wish I'd thought of it.

Hi redyellowblackdog, First of all, I will take it with grain of salt. But do you think that the newspaper no longer exists? FYI, the article was published long time ago.

I would guess that newspaper does still exist but that it really is the same as the WEEKLY WORLD NEWS. That is, it should be read more for amusement than to be informed.

red, I do NOT read "WEEKLY WORLD NEWS" because I believe that it is full bunch of gossips and full of crap. But you said that 'Ammennusatia' may be Finnish (the majority language of Finland people). But do you think 'Ammennusatia' which is like "WEEKLY WORLD NEWS" had existed long long time ago? I think "WEEKLY WORLD NEWS" exist just recently. As you said, it is just for entertainment. How about Jacques Costeau, the famous underwater explorer, who had a similar experience when he was diving in the deepest sea of Bermuda Triangle?

I'm sorry, but I am taking this with a massive dose of salt. If Hell had genuinely been found, it would not be news for some isolated local paper, or even the national paper of one nation. It would be all over the globe in a hot minute, do pardon the pun. * If there is a physical Hell, it is not in this dimensions that we currently live in. Please remember that Jesus said "many heavens". If there are "many heavens" there should be an equal number of "hells". * Yet again, Hell may not be a physical place, but a place of spirit. Whatever it is, I don't think a bunch of folk stumbled on it by drilling!

CraftyCorner, Don't you forget that those souls in Hell have been transformed into other dimension so that they would not rapidly be crisped by even cool lava? However, the heat of lava can still be felt by them? It is what I am thinking.

CraftyCorner, 1) Have you ever read your local newspaper? Do you think ALL news from your local newspaper will also be published in the national newspaper or even in the international newspapers? 2) Since it is a matter of faith (belief), it may not be a great news. Perhaps, it will create unnecessary fear or propensity. 3) Because the voice of Hell was only be heard by some Geologists (Researchers), many people won't believe it. Have you ever found some people who used to deny everything or what is going on although it is based on the fact? 4) As you said, it is definitely not in this dimension that we currently live in. Yes, those souls in Hell are not in the same dimension. But my question is..... where the Hell is located? Could it be located inside of our Earth? Could it be one of them located in the center of Earth? Because you said that "If there are "many heavens" there should be an equal number of "hells". 5) If God wants to tell us about something including Hell and Heaven, He will be able to do so -- even through a bunch of folk stumbled on it by drilling!

I believe the inside of the physical Earth is too hot even for Hell, as the Human would rapidly be crisped by even cool lava. Under the thin skin on which we live, there is hot rock that is so hot it is melted. * Here is a link to what is known to reside inside the Earth. * http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/interior/ * I think the drillers may have stumbled on something, but I am not willing to state they stumbled on 'Hell'. I'd think that the Power That Be would have a better lock & Key... * Consider who may be in Hell. That would be a frightening 'prison break'.

The website you found is not only an ugly portrayal of an all-loving and wise God, but the story isn't even true. I looked this up at Snopes to see what kind of information it had, and you wouldn't believe just how far this original news story has been stretched to get to the point that it has turned into scientists discovering hell. Go here to read about it... http://www.snopes.com/religion/wellhell.asp I've also read in similar publications about people getting flushed down the toilet through strong suction and getting to hell that way. Like somebody goes in to use the toilet, and the other people in the house or apartment hear him/her scream. When they go into the bathroom, there's no sign of the person but the water in the toilet is bloody.

Yeah! This article is definitely total tabloid--right to how they have it taking place in a remote place instead of somewhere that the story can easily be checked out such as in Indianapolis or somewhere in Texas.

There is so much of the written word that gets off to a good start then as it is repeated it gets completely unbelievable. I think this may be just one of those. I won't say there isn't a Hell but I don't think it has been found in the center of the Earth or anywhere else. Anyway it was a fun thing to read.

IF there were a hell (and no I dont believe in heaven or hell) one would think its closer to the core of the Earth which is THOUSANDS of Ks down.. Definately sounds like a World Weekly News story to me

It was probably the drill bit running out of lubricant and I expect the drillers got hell from their boss for ruining an expensive drill bit. Haha It is very good for people to believe in Hell as it makes them far more manageable and they will do what they are told without question. Every politician needs lots of people like that.

I just tried to point out that fear is a very useful tool to control the masses and is used by politicians and religions alike. If you are good you may go to heaven/paradise; if you are bad you go to Hell. The classic carrot and stick way of controlling the masses. This is not a bad thing because the masses need to be controlled for people to live peacefully in close contact with each other. There has to be rules and those rules need to be enforced. But to believe that drilling about 5 miles down into the 7,900 miles that is our Earth we tap into Hades is laughable. Is this a big cavern in the Earth's core? Please! The structure of the Earth gets denser towards the middle not lighter. With a Hell there Earth's gravity would be much less and would be in an orbit way out from the Sun and we wouldn't be here and God would have chosen another planet to put Adam and Eve on. Keep religious beliefs firmly in the field of one's imagination where it is safe. Avoid attaching facts and figures because then it makes religion look silly to a free thinking person.

smacksman, I don’t agree with you, smacksman. Religion is not invented in order to control masses. For instance, I believe in God and I also believe in Heaven and Hell. But I won’t simply follow whatever my reverend or pastor, for instance, is saying to me. Why? Because I have my own opinion. I also have my own thinking. Therefore, it adheres with that person. My faith doesn’t come out of fear as what you think. I strongly believe that every soul needs "development" such as love, affection, hope, peace, and happiness. Where do I get such "development"? I have found it from the love of God. Of course, it is coming from His teaching (i.e., Bible). It is up to you whether you believe it or not. Every person is different in terms of finding hope, peace, happiness, love, and affection for the "food" of their souls. Bible doesn’t teach about fear (stick and carrot) but love, hope, peace and happiness. Believers are going to a church because they want to hear hope and love not only for their earthly life but also for their eternal life. When you do believe in God and His love, you won’t be fear of Hell. Only those of unbelievers will have such thinking (stick and carrot). I believe in Heaven and Hell because what is happening is very consistent with what God has mentioned in Bible. You said that "the structure of the Earth gets denser towards the middle not lighter". It is NOT what Scientists from at Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory have concluded. The Scientists have found that the Earth's inner core is rotating faster than the planet itself because it is actually surrounded by a much larger liquid outer core. Here are the links: http://www.valdostamuseum.org/hamsmith/coreLDCol.html http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/25/science/25cnd-core.html So, why is the Earth’s inner core rotating faster than the planet itself? Because its inner core is smaller than its outer core. According to Bible, its inner core is where Hell is located. An Evangelist believes that the inner core is resided by sinners and devils. Since devils can be heavier than humans, that’s why the inner core is rotating faster. It is up to you whether you believe it or not. Also, Bible mentions about lake of fire, brimstone and worms with regard to Hell. Geologists have observed that we can find brimstone, lava, worms inside of our Earth. So, it is exactly what Bible is pointing out. Do you think ancient people (people who lived two thousand year old ago) had had sophisticated tools to drill the depth of our Earth so that they could describe it as something that consisted of brimstone, worms, etc and it could be very hot inside of the Earth as mentioned in Bible? Please think about it.

AJ1952Chats, To answer your question, how can someone be happy in a Heaven with his/her loved ones in Hell? Please visit this site. Perhaps, you can get some understanding. http://www.christiancourier.com/articles/read/can_one_be_happy_in_heaven_with_loved_ones_in_hell Why do sinners have to go to Hell for the eternity? I am thinking ..... So far, we've already known about God, Scriptures, etc. Is it right? With rapid current technology, most people in the world have been informed about God, Hell, Heaven, Scriptures, etc. So, if people don't live by God's rules, it means that they are the ones who choose to go to Hell (their own free will). This situation is like... you know that you are allergic to nuts, for instance, but you still eat nuts. Then, what will happen?

Pfft! So since I'm going to hell for all eternity because I don't believe in your god, does that mean that it's okay for me to kill people? No sin is worse than the other according to the bible because it's the same punishment. Wouldn't one want to make hell worth their while?

That is stupid. You probably believe all the applesause they print in the Weekly World News too. Did I mention I'm pregnant with an alien baby that I conceived while watching Elvis play ping pong with Bill Clinton? When are you going to realize that Jesus came to live a life of example and not as an excuse to condemn anyone who doesn't agree with you to a flaming pit in the center of the earth? I believe in hell. I believe you live it every day that you agonize in your own sin. Hell isn't for the future. Hell is right now. Right here on earth, not in it. You may not believe so but many people out there are looking forward to dying so they can stop existing in the hell their life is right now.

How do you listen to it? It just keeps telling me to accept Jesus. I want to hear it! Oh well, it looks very fake to me, like someone thought it was funny to make a website to scare people into believing in God. I have a very strong faith in God but my faith did not come out of fear. I developed my faith in God out of love for God and a desire to please my creator who has blessed me with so much. I believe that if you only believe in God because you are afraid of hell than your love for God is conditional. If hell did not exist than you would not love God and that makes me very sad and I believe it makes God very sad (though I cannot know for sure I suppose). I do not think that these people are going about bringing God to people in the right way. God should be shown as a God of love not a condemning, scary God. But a loving God who seeks our love. I do not believe hell is a literal place. I believe hell is a spiritual state which one who does not know God experiences when they die. It is terrible and torturous, it is not fires and physical torment but rather it is an agony of the soul which is far beyond any pain we might feel in the physical world. I do not believe God condemns anyone to hell, God loves us too much! But rather we condemn ourselves to hell. But if ever we choose to turn to God and love God, God will immediately welcome us with open arms. maybe I am too optimistic. But I have felt the love God has for His people fill my soul and I do not believe God could love us that much and still send some of us to hell. Regardless of what we believe we will all find out in the end.

runner0369, It is good for you that you love God because of His love. It is what we are supposed to do. But I would like to say that you have misunderstood me. For your information, I have a strong faith because I believe that everything is created by God and He came to the world to save us from our sins including Hell. My faith did NOT come out of fear. Many people are saying that a loving God would not send people to hell. Although it is logically valid at the first glance, it has created some assumptions that are not true for the God of the Bible. Why? a) You do know that every good parents recognizes that allowing their children to do whatever they want to do is not loving at all. Otherwise, the child will grow up into selfish behavior and he/she may not be able to know what it means to love other people. b) Our universe was created in a good order. The laws of God that governs our universe are so precisely so that we can calculate the positions of planets, stars, and other galaxies. Would you think a God of this kind precision design moral laws that are random or changing? If so, it is unlikely or inconsistent with the character of the Creator that we know from the reality of the creation. According to the Bible, the moral laws are consistent with the character of God. So, the main purpose of moral laws to teach us what God requires for us to enter into His kingdom. It also teaches us in order to live in harmony toward each other and NOT to hurt each other. c) God has created us with free will. Unfortunately, most people don't agree that God's rules are good and they do not want to live by them. So, the majority of people choose to live without God's rules. In other words, they prefer to live without God's presence. It is their own will and preference. Please note that All who enter God's kingdom must be absolutely holy, since no sin is allowed in God's presence. But God still loves us. Therefore, He has given a salvation through Jesus Christ. Thus, we'll still be able to go to Heaven through Jesus Christ. So, I mentioned about Hell because I would like others know that Hell does exist. It is not intended to create your fear. Without Hell, it means that God lets us do whatever we want to do and if it is like that, it means that God is not loving to us at all.

I was actually refering to the people who created the website not you, sorry for the offense. I was only trying to indicate that I do not feel that Hell's existence is a reason to believe in God. It is fine if you disagree. This is just my opinion. I believe showing God's love in all that we do and thereby attracting people to His Cause is a much better method and has worked very well in my experience. I do not believe that the Bible explicitly states that God condemns us to hell (though it is possible that I missed it). It states that hell exists quite clearly and tells us how to avoid such a fate. But I do not know of anywhere in the Bible where it says God will send you to hell if you do not do this. I believe the wording is closer to you will go to hell if you do not do this. Therefore, I do not believe that my belief contridicts the Bible. Also, please note that I did not say God does not ever punish us. I said God does not send us to hell for eternity, we send our selves there. I believe it is our doing not God's. I believe God punishes and rewards us during our time on earth so that we can learn the laws He has set forth, such as treating others with kindness, ect. This is how I interpret the Holy Word of God. But of course none of us have the ability to know the true meaning behind the beautiful words God has blessed us with, we must all strive to interpret the Word as best we can and strive to live in service to our Lord.

If you take the trouble of leading an expedition and proving it beyond doubt, don't you think you will be a better Christian?? positiveminded1977, If you are not trying to convince me of the non existence of Hell, why do you explain to me your thoughts in such manner? You acknowledged in the beginning that I was answering your posting politely to YOUR SCARCASTIC response. It means that you are a person who is making first flame here. If you don’t believe in Hell and you don’t agree with me, that’s fine. But I don’t expect you to be disrespectful to Christians. Did I ever mention your scripture disrespectfully? By the way, I do really know that Bhagavad Gita is the Holy Book of the Hindus. You don’t have to tell me about it because I also know the Hindus. Again, you quickly jumped into your own conclusion. You have misunderstood what I said. I did NOT say that "reading about the faith of others is not proof of hatred for Christians". You can read whatever you want. However, you are twisting the meaning of my response here. I said "Unless you are a scholar, people usually don’t want to read other scripture which is different from what their faith is". I think it is just quite unusual and I did NOT say that it is proof of hatred for Christians. But your statement such as "I say ‘Christian’ because only Christians indulge in such spiritual terrorism" is not only hurting Christians but also it is considered as disrespectful and hateful. I believe in the Bible and like yourself, you believe in Bhagavad Gita. I am expressing what my belief is as what the Bible says. I know some rituals of the Hinduism that I also don’t agree with. But I don’t consider it as a spiritual terrorism. Do you think it is a spiritual terrorism to express what Christians believe in? Thus, you have a right to make a disrespectful statement like that to me and other Christians?

Well, thanks for your links!! It is again Biblical stuff; nothing scientific about it. Spiritual terrorism again! ;) Anyway, I told you right in the beginning that I am not trying to convince you of the non existence of Hell. Hell is a VERY REAL PLACE only for those who believe in it. I only shared my thoughts on it. You don't have to take them or be worried about them. Hell is real for you; not for me... How did you get the idea that I hate Christians? Actually, I don't! I just don't agree with their philosophy and way of thinking. That is not hate. Reading about the faith of others is not proof of hatred for Christians!! I read the Gita because it is the Holy Book of the Hindus, the people of India, and India is my own motherland. I did not read it because I hate Christians or something like that. LOL, great to read a "helly" thread for a change. Plenty of flames here...owwwwwwww.. there are much cooler places on Mylot!! So, I guess we graciously agree to disagree and part ways. Good bye! Nice talking to you.. Cheers and happy mylotting!

i read the article.. and from the quality of the photographs id say this was rather old of a publication. i also listened to this so called recording of hell.. with the voice over of a woman preaching damnation and horrors. logically.. if you are to base this in the biblical writings.. this isnt even possible, as the bible states that the spritual isnt within the physical manifested realm we live in.. thusly, as these souls are no longer physical, neither can their resting place of "hell" be reachable by a researchers drill into the core of the physical earth.

personally i think anything is possible.. but youd asked about this specific publication and article, and quoted scriptures to back it up as possibly being true. as scripture states it cant be true, thus scripture cant be used as a valid resource for it being true. i think in regards to this situation itself.. these researchers were blatantly lying, if this article is even factual in the first place. it seems more along the lines of the national inquirer that publishes stories about people turning into animals after eating pet food, and women being impregnanted by bigfoot. its tabloid supermarket drivel.. nothing more.

I had to really take a break before I replied to this post. Please tell me that you are not the type of persone that thinks that heaven is floating up in the clouds. If a geological group drilled down and found hell then why do not the people in air craft hear heaven or even the people that have taken the trip to space. We have been to the moon. There is nothing in the center of the earth other then the core. Sounds that have been heard could be sounds made from the drill from the heat or even from the rock they are drilling. Think about it. After doing some research on the Newspaper "Ammennusatia", it leads me to believe own of two things. One the writers of the newspaper are bible thumpers or the newspaper is like the rag papers here in the USA. Yes, I do believe that hell is ture, however, do you really think that it would be that easy to find? In that case, every planet that has life would have hell and there would be more then one hell. The bible states that there is no levels in hell, sin is sin. - Reverend James, FL. USA -

I don't feel that if there is a hell that it would be in the center of the earth. I believe that if there is a heaven and hell that it would be in the absence of space rather. I do believe that there is a hell and a heaven but I don't believe it is the conventional idea of the two. Hell, the worst possible thing that could happen to one person. There for hell is a state of mind that is based on an individual's perception of it. Same idea for heaven but it would be the best or happy time for said individual. Logic and science proves that religions and beliefs are in accurate and have no scientific basis for their events.

kassdaw, It is up to you whether you believe it or not. We already know that what is happening on Earth can be categorized as hell. So, do you think it is possible that God created space on the center of the Earth in order to continue the state of hell after this life?

I don't believe that God created anything. As I said, I believe that heaven and hell are both states of mind, rather then what is to come at the end of your life.
