Writer's block is over

Okay so I've had writer's block for a while now. It was like my muse dissapeared all of a sudden. So yesterday I guess she came back and I started to type this thing I have to write for an audition to get into my University's Theatre program. I was so inspired that I typed it out in around five minutes. All I have to do know is go back and review it and tweak a bit here and there. I'm really happy and i hope that this muse stays with me so that I can finish my manuscript. Has this ever happened to you?

Baby, that's the only way I can write. Most of the time, I don't feel like I write at all. The words come to me and I type them. Don't worry if the initial inspiration wears thin. Editing our work is more like grunt work, and little miss inspiration doesn't like to be bothered. On the other hand, you might stay on fire all the way to the conclusion. Congratulations.

Oh yeah and even if you've checked it four times or more there are still mistakes that manage to escape from you.

Yeah I know and thanks. There are times when I don't feel like editing but it's a must do to make the writing all polished and perfect.

Too true. And the editing seems to go on forever. You think everything looks right, you walk away and when you come back you find something else to correct or re-word. It's all worth it in the end. That's why we write.

All the time. I really hate having writer's block. The feeling is completely unbearable and excruciating to go through. However, I love the feeling how all of a sudden your artistic ability increases and your mind starts racing with tons of ideas. That feeling can only be achieved after you have had some time to come up with new ideas. So, I think writer's block is definitely worth it because of what's to come.

I know it's like when your ideas start to come back it's like your reborn again. I never thought of it that way, how writer's block is definitely worth it because of what's to come but It's true. When you have writer's block and then it all comes back you are writting even better than before because you've had a long rest and the ideas that you had were just building up in there, but you had no way of getting them out. That's a really cool way of looking at writer's block.

Glad to hear that you have recovered from your writer's block. I have to admit right now I'm in that same situation. I can't get the energy and the inspiration to write anything creative. The only thing I can write now is here hanging out in mylot, which is a totally different kind of writing. Well, I hope that just like you I will find my Muse again. I can't let my writing partners down who are getting impatient with my writing drought. I know how it feels to write when one is inspired. Its a beautiful thing.

Thanks and I hope that you also get your muse back. Mylot is somthing different because I could be writting on mylto and then when I have to write about something creative I just sit there and stare at the paper. I'm glad that I'm not blocked anymore and I could write freely. I hope that you get your muse back.

Inspiration is a wonderful thing. I love it when I feel so inspired the words just flood out. I often find it difficult to get started when I need to write about a particular topic. Once I know which approach to take, it is often like removing a blockage from a stream of thought. There is nothing like the feeling of satisfaction when a piece of writing is completed. I can understand your happiness at finishing your audition piece. I hope all goes well and that your muse stays with you from now on.

Thanks so much and yeah inspiration is a wonderful thing. It just feel so good when you just stay in front of your computer for like more than an hour and words are coming out of you faster than the speed of light and then when you are finished you can say that you have accomplished something important. I also hope that she stays with me and doesn't leave me.

Writers block can be the worst feeling in the world...I have suffered from it before...When your muse or inspiration vanishes it is hard for the soul to write again in the same way...I am glad you found your muse again...

Thanks and yeah they are just wonderful. I just hope that I can hold on to her for as long as possible so I could get somethine done. As soon as I get blocked she'll probably leave to fend for myself. Thanks.

LOL. That's cool and yeah just that small little thing is enough to open your mind and give you all these great ideas again.

hi ayumi-chan! i often have writer's block and whenever i do, i force myself to still write even just a paragraph. and i've proven that its not a good practice because what usually comes out is really bad content. but its not all bad because i'm still able to squeeze out some good ideas even if i'm feeling all blank. and the time that my muse gets back to me, its easier to write because the ideas are already there. its easier to expound. and finishing my work would be like a bliss.

Yeah it's good to just write a paragraph and it could be be about anything. I'm actually pretty happy because I just started a story last week and I've already finished the first three chapters. That is a big deal for me. So wish me luck I hope that I get to finish this story.

Yup, all the time. Annoyingly, my writer's block tends to break when I'm in the shower, on the bus, or otherwise in a place where I can't really start writing down the ideas that are bubbling over in my head. Then when I finally get in front of the computer, the really BRILLIANT stuff I had come up with is gone. :(
