I had not been that relaxed in a long while. So how about you?

I like the fair, I think it's the sounds and smells that I remember from when I was a kid. There are a lot of events I would like to go to but the traffic is what always puts me off. I don't like to deal with the parking and stuff. The one event I've always wanted to go to and I would happily endure the traffic for would be the Ice Capades that use to come to Jacksonville.

I love movies, plays and theater. However its been years since I have been to a formal theater. We do have a nice auditorium now in Nashville. I also enjoy concerts. My husband and I go on occasion not as much any more. We have a Renaissance festival coming up soon that we always look forward too.

I hope you enjoy your Renaissance festival. For that i might even brave the crowds.

while I do love to go to fairs, festivals and such, they aren't exactly relaxing for me. LOL With five kids in tow... I do love to go to baseball games, and soccer too for that matter. I hate going to in home parties. I used to be a Mary Kay rep, and in home parties kind of stress me out...

I like walking around at the fair, but our festivals have gotten so crowded that i tend to avoid them.My anniversary outing with my husband every year is that he takes me to the pbr(bullriding)when they come within driving distance. I am going to my first home party soon but since it's about cooking i'm sure i'll have a good time.My youngest child is 12 now so i'm not stuck dragging them everywhere.

I enjoy movies and eating popcorn. I like a good festival as well, but they always seem to be held on the hottest days of the year. I love watching Fire works. I love musicals as well, but it is hard to find baby sitters. I usually enjoy myself at home parties where they are selling stuff, I have not been to one in a long time though. I used to sell Tupperware, and I enjoyed that.

I enjoy movies myself, but i generally just rent them. Our Festivials are at different times of the year but jeez people come from the surrounding states and i just can't seem to make myself mingle with 50,000 people (or more).I would love to go to a real musical or play for that matter but we do not have a theater close by. I am going to go to my first home party soon and i can't wait. I just know i'm going to have a good time. It's a TASTE of HOME party and i recently attended their yearly event in a near-by town at the high school gym. I had a ball! I love to cook and i like watching other people cook, so i'm excited about it.

I generally don't attend many public events as most around here are in the summer and thus hot and crowded. I do like to take the kids to watch the fireworks around the 4Th of July though.

I love getting away for a couple of days, just for a change of pace and scenery. I find exploring new places very enjoyable and relaxing. I also enjoy going out for a meal, and entertaining at home in summer with a casual bbq. Family outings are also a nice way to spend a day - to the zoo or the beach or perhaps a ferry ride on the harbour. A simple long walk can also destress me when I have the time (I don't often have time for a REALLY long walk, so that's an event in itself!).

I visit Miami, N.Y., Las vegas and multiple other cities every week and don't even have to go out in the heat to get there, why in the world would i get out in crowds, heat, bugs and nosie?
